run into the burning building

there's a building over there, kind of hidden in the distance.
it's made of smoke from a fire that has never burned.
i here of a tornado coming along.
but that building is about too many tons heavy to count.
some measly storm wind won't blow it away.
would you like to know why?
because your weak brain refuses to let go of it.
once it got a hold of a far away land- not nessecarily in some woods, but some place far enough that no one thinks of a weak child to hide there- you can't let go of it.
now you use it as an escape for simple things you can't handle.
now you wish this place actually existed.
now you wanna be in the fire that started it,
although you can't because a fire didn't release that smoke.
unsaid words released it,
the pain of a hidden voice sparked the flame.
but you still can't be apart of the fire because it doesn't exist.
it's not real, nothing is real.
the smoking smoke building won't take you away from the pain you feel everyday.
the building in the distance won't take you away from the small things you're scared of.
you can never run away and it's time to realize that.
it's time to blow out the candle.
you can't hold on to imaginary things forever,
you can't get attatched to actual things forever.
both won't matter when the fire in you dies.
when the building in the distance finally falls.
