beyond the never there

it was the place beyond the forest walls,
further than a root can grow.
the tent set up camp straight on the end of the edge.
sleep and wake up into the wall of brisk wind.
walk, walk into deeper of the pit.
now, the faces once might've seen blend into the background of yellow leaves.
suffocating dirt filling the lung, do not worry, existence simply cannot be left behind.
the area surrounding becomes paler and softer.
the ground levels out into something of pavement.
continue on walking with a lover.
hand in hand, worry from fear of unfamiliarity.
continue on, walking right into the more of nothingness.
houses, there are perfect little yellow houses.
the lawns are trimmed just right, the fences all nice.
running, footsteps, a savior perhaps?
a man and his routine, not to be disturbed at all.
he cannot hear, no sounds of the pitiful crys of home.
he is home now, from his nice little jog.
all that can be done is to watch his day go by.
trying to chase him only to get lost in the circles of an absolutely perfect neighborhood.
there are no street signs, or north stars to follow.
no longer within the comfort of nature, there is no true way to go.
walking, walking, fatigue strikes at once.
there are no bags that once came on this trip.
simply, the clothes on the backs of the heavy.
soil gets pat down into the top tip of the lungs.
a breath to come out full of the nature once remembered.
what happened yesterday has gone on for several weeks.
a minute passes by in a day, and within the haze of it all, the screaming cries of a baby to its mother.
new life to be forever in this cycle of somewhere gone.
the baby no where to be found, yet always unconcious in the back of the mind.
yelps of death calling out to an adult.
asistance never withdrawn.
running and running, don't worry there is no way out.
existence cannot be erased from the heart of nowhere.
underneath the sidewalk as it opens up, a place to mourn the death of a truly beloved.
from simple fatigue a body gone, the man collects it and brought it home.
once again, the cries of something that truly existed gone deaf to his ears.
he would not hear the pleas of a truly sad entity.
a slide down into under everything, the sidewalk brings on a new adventure not really wanted to be discovered.
follow everything as it holds every single angle.
the walls caving in, gently brushing upon a soft face.
a place to die with no soul, and an angled house full of the ones from before.
walking to the dining room and sliding down into the tables.
a woman feasting on her own delicious tears, a meal to be enjoyed.
she cries for all the people stolen, all her babies lost.
sinking, swallowed by the floor as the most pitiful moment.
gooey, icky carpet is now the area that surrounds.
sticking and glued into the skin.
nothing else can be felt, other than the small hairs that have once provided comfort.
pure sorrow eats this one alive as it dies from the hands of barbed fire fences.
the means of a man too jealous.
he has never liked his routine, and has always held too many carpets in the upstairs bedrooms.
swallowed by hurtful emotions, he wakes up from someone else's dreams.
thoughts that aren't his own now have his name written all over their skies.
the place of never before only in the wrinkles of bedsheets.
forget everything of a new, shameful world.
have no wind to lead to anywhere.
stale air in the surround.
no sound to give any type of shameful comfort.
stuck, lost, kept in the glasses unused.
no place to ever really be.
existence always there, flowers growing out the mouths of those who wished too hard, made too many words.
a story too strong, a place all the real.
