Chapter 14

I wake-up with head still racing, I mean I still can't believe what happened yesterday, like Noah kissed me and told me was gonna fight for me, like as if I'm with Jake now and nothing can change that...right? I make the crazy choice to go for a run, I hop in the shower throw on a matching but basic black yoga outfit, I grab my music and head outside. I run quickly by Noah house it was still pretty early so I was hoping he'd still be asleep. About a mile into my run i began to see a shadow form, I couldn't really make out who or what it was was but as my run continued I could make out the face and of course it was Noah. I turn my music up louder and continue to run right pass him, I can hear him calling my name slightly, but i keep going. Once I reach mile 3, I turn back and head home, I am thinking of all I want to do today and what I am going to say to Eva. I wanna come off mean but not too harsh, I still can't believe she did this. I finally reach back home I scurry past Noah's house and into mine. I go to the kitchen to hopefully find my mom there so we can talk but of course she not there just a note that said "Went out to get breakfast, then to work see you later my love, p.s there money in the cookie jar for you, love Mom." great I think to myself, I grabbed a bottle of water from out of the refrigerator then head up to my room. I open my door to find a sweaty man in my window, the on and only Noah. "What are you doing in my room? How did you get in my house?" I asked "Calm down, your mom said it was cool that I come in as she was on the way out." he said so calmly " I get that but why are you in my room." I said as my tone grew more angrily "I wanna take you out tonight, what do you say." he asked me. Is he crazy, did you forget what happened not 24 hours ago, and most importantly I have a boyfriend now. "Why  would I go out with you?" I asked him to try to level with him "C'mon you know you wanna go with me, stop playing hard to get baby." he laughed slightly. He's right I did want to go with him at one point but not now. " I am not your baby for one and for two you know I have a boyfriend, your best friend and you dating mine! So therefore you've got to stop doing this, I am not yours that ship has sailed." I told him I was getting more and more angry. "Look, I just wanna take a shower and chill and I would like you to leave." I said as I placed my phone down, he complied  and started to walk out the door but before he left he whispered in my ear "This...this isn't over..." he left. I took a deep breath and decide to call Eva, since I've be ignoring her. I hit her line, it rung twice then she answered. She sounded like she had been crying, I wanted so badly to hang up maybe this was a bad time to call her. I decided against it I spoke first beacause I couldn't bear to listen anymore. "Are you okay, is this a bad time I can call you later." I so wanted to hang up but she was my best friend. "Oh no, I was just about to call you, look I am so sorry about Noah I knew you liked him and didn't mean to hurt you, it just happened and you mean the world to me and I miss you--" She said with such a fragile voice. "Its fine look I know I've been avoiding you but that's in the past besides you haven't heard?" I asked her I'm  shocked she was on the latest tea about Jake and I. "Really, you mean it because I have missed you so much and I never want fight  like that again, what haven't I heard." She said i could tell she was cheering up. "Well, nothing new except I'm dating Jake." I said softly. "What... I can't hear you" she said  "I AM DATING JAKE." I yelled into the phone "OOOMMMGGG!!!"She squealed "Okay calm down I'll tell you about it later, anyway Noah and Jake aren't talking and I don't know why but they're not." I told her I was trying to get her focus back. "Wait if they're not talking how are we supposed to get them to talk." She asked "Do I have to spell it out for you Double Date!" I said " Okay so what's the plan for getting them there without letting them know the other is coming." She can be so slow at times. "We ask them on date separate date and we so happens to pop up at the same place, let's meet up at Dink's bowling alley." I told her she said okay and the plan was set
