Chapter 19 - Memory Lane

RUHI'S POV

I dust some blusher on my cheeks, karan was still taking a bath. We were getting ready to attend the function in college.

I looked around the room, each and every conner reminding me of time and years I spend with Karan.

This house was very special to me, so I requested Dad to buy it.
I was in deep thoughts when bare arms circle around me "Having a flashback!?" Karan whisper in my ear.

Smiling I turned to face him, as usual his hair were wet "I miss those days" I said. Resting my head on his bare chest.

"I have survived 8 years on these memories" after a while he spoke, I pulled back and gaze into his eyes, I could clearly see the pain, infact we both could see each others pain.

"I am so sorry..!" I said planting a kiss on his chest about his heart.

"Shhh...!! I no more blame you," He kissed my head.

"You have no idea how great full i am to have you back.. And Kartik he was unexpected yes!, but heck I love him so much that I can do it all again again baby" He rubbed his thumb on my cheeks wiping my tears.

"I wish we could stay here, but we have an event to attend" He said after a while, I pulled my hands back and gave him a node, smiling when he rubbed his nose against mine.

"Where are we going?!" I asked Karan as he drive opposite side of the house. "To our favorite place" He said, my eyes went wide.

"I want to visit all the places, which we did back in college" he explained further.

Soon enough we reached, the sun was setting, making the sky in shades of orange.

Karan and me sat on ground, his arms circling around me as we watch the sun going fown silently.

"I miss champ" He said sadly. "Me too we will vedio call him when we reached home" I suggest.

"I even have to call Bo,!" i told him, he frown "Neha is staying with him!" I said further, His eyes widden.

"I hope that fool make her comfortable" He said, I glared at him for calling Bo fool.

"What?!" He asked raising his eyebrows "You have no problem when he calls me name!?" he asked huffing. I giggled kissing his cheek "but Nerd just suits you" I told him. He narrowed his eyes at me.

"Right, let's get home, I'll show you my nerd side" He said making me go all red.

ROHIT'S POV

Its been 2 nd night and yet again Neha's scream woke me up, I was currently sitting beside her as she rock herself.

It was making me restless, I wanted to know what happened in her life that she scream in so much pain.

I was making strong coffee for myself, my eyes filling tired, I yawn, my eyes glancing at the close door, where Neha was.

I was flipping news channel, when I heard soft voice behind me.

"Rohit" She called my name. tucking her hairs behind her ears, her eyes not looking at me. But Rather downcast.

"Yes Neha!?" I asked, "Hmm.. If you don't mind can you take me to near by store, I want to buy something" She said.

"Ok, let's go" I said. Taking my car keys she walked behind me.

We reach all departmental store nearby. I told her to buy what she need and meet me near the payment counter.

I wink a the girl who was starring at me, she blushed before looking down, I smirk Tapping my feet, I waited for Neha to return, but it was more than 15 minutes, I couldn't wait anymore and started to search her.

I was searching for Neha in asile when I found at distance, Neha was standing her back touching the aisle behind her as someone was hovering over her.

I speed up "Neha!" I said nearing them her wide fearful eyes turned to me.

My eyes turned to the person who had corned her, the man looked in his thirties,Thick beard hidden his 1/4 face, he wore a black cap casting a shadow on his face making him look dark.

He's glared at me before his eyes returning back to Neha, she cover back "See you soon!" He said coldly before marching away.

"Neha?" I called her name few times, She had zoned out, and for some odd reason, I felt like I was loosing her, I wanted to hug her tight. Her eyes suddenly snapped at me, she gasp before tucking at my hand.

Neha space the Room, she looked worried, scared and I did nothing sat there so that she can tell me who was that man.

"I have to leave,!" She said all of sudden. I stood up clenching my hand "No!.." I said she looked at me wide eyes filled with tears.

"Why???.... Please Rohit understand.. I don't want you to get hurt.. Please he is dangerous" She said desperately.

"Who was he Neha?!" I questioned her, she flinch when I raised my voice "

A sob escaping her lips, she whisper the words which I didn't imagine or think of.

" My husband! " she said crying out in pain. I stood there, making myself realize that whatever she told was true and not my imagination.

" You.. Your.. Husband?! " i asked back, just to comfirm.
