Special Chapter: A Childhood Story
"Ughhh." 4 year old Kasuno sat in front of the window, looking down the street of Konoha. She stare at the clock then back out the window, letting out yet another sigh.
"Kasuno." Mrs. Yamashita placed her hand on top of her daughter's head "You're sitting here again."
"I'm waiting for nii-san." Kasuno pout, resting her chin on her palm "He's late."
"Why don't you-"
"Nii-san!" Kasuno leap out of her chair, pushing past her mother. She skip down the stairs, almost tripping on the way out. Before Takeru could even open the door, she was already outside, jumping up and down.
Takeru chuckled, giving her cheeks a pinch.
"Nii-san! How was academy? Tell me more stories! Did you learn a new jutsu?" Kasuno can already imagine everything in her head. All the fun Taijutsu and the cool tools. The funny guy in the green jumpsuit, the cool genius with the gray hair and her brother's new crush, Kurenai...ah...how she wishes she had those red eyes.
"You look excited to enter the academy too, Kasuno-chan."
Kasuno look passed her brother and her eyes landed at Rin. Rin smiles brightly at her but little Kasuno quickly hid behind her brother, feeling shy.
Rin laughed "Your sister look just like you but she's very different in other aspect."
"She's a very shy kid. I'm worried about her entering the academy." Takeru scratches his head, smiling awkwardly.
"Rin nee-chan, how's my brother doing in class?" Kasuno's little voice asked.
Rin looked at Takeru with a small giggle "Hmm...he probably know he's talented so he slacks off most of the time. If he's ever missing, he's out chasing girls." she winked.
Kasuno shuddered "C-Chasing girls? My brother is a b-bully?!"
"What?! No!" Takeru glared at Rin.
Rin laughed again "I meant he's out on a date."
"Go home Rin." Takeru rolled his eyes, pushing the girl out their gate.
"See you tomorrow Kasuno-chan! Bye!!!" Rin yelled as Takeru successfully pushed her out their gate.
Kasuno watch her run across the street and enter her own house. She wished to grow up like Rin. Always smiling, always enthusiastic. It's like nothing can take her down, not even the world itself.
She just can't wait to grow up and be good friends with her.
"Wanna take a walk?" Takeru knelt down in front of his sister, offering his back.
Kasuno nodded in glee, hoping on "Nii-san, more stories?" She asked, leaning her head on her brother's back as they walk around the village, passing by food vendors and small houses.
"I played with my classmates today, you know. Stupid Obito was 'it' the whole time."
Kasuno can feel her brother chuckling. She leaned into his back even more. She love seeing how happy he is.
