I sat around on the couch with Bella just talking to her. "I kinda wanna talk to him but I'm not exactly sure how." She says. I raise a brow. "So you still have yet to talk to him but he's been in almost all of our classes for two days now??" I ask. If life was an anime, she'd be sweat dropping. "Ahhhhh yeahhhhh basically..." she says grinning sheepishly. I roll my eyes.

"C'mon, it cant be that hard." I say. "Says the one that can't even stand normally around her crush." My eyes widen and I feel my cheeks get slightly  warmer. "B-But that's different!! My crush is a celebrity!! I-If you stood in front of Tom Holland right now you'd be no different!!" I stammer. "Ah, well, I guess that's true in some ways, but nevertheless, you have a crush on another teen, and since you shy away around him, that means that you technically just diminished your own statement." She says. I grunted in annoyance.

The next day in eighth period, I was watching Bella play beach volleyball as I drew in my sketchpad. I glanced at Evan on the occasion, so then I decided to draw him jumping and trying to hit the ball.

As I drew the outline, I didn't realize that there was actually someone behind me watching me draw. As I continued to draw curved lines, I sensed someone move and sit closer to me behind me on my left. I paused before looking up and my eyes widened and I froze. Adam sat above me. His eyes widened, as he didn't expect me to turn around I don't think. "O-Oh! S-Sorry... I didn't mean to interrupt, I just couldn't help but notice how amazing your drawing skills are. I'm not all that great at drawing so it was interesting to see someone good at it draw." He compliments nervously. I suddenly remembered that he was always fairly shy around girls. I felt my cheeks heat. He was complimenting... me? And, I'm not complimenting his music?? "I-I-... t-thank you..." I say dumbfounded before shyly grinning at the floor.

"S-So... w-what are you doing out here...? I-I figured you'd be writing a n-new song..." I stammer. I hate my stutter. "I-I came out to get fresh air and feel the breeze so I could write some lyrics..." he says gazing thoughtfully at the sky. Stars shimmered in my eyes as I gazed at him. I grinned admiringly at him, since he thinks like I do. He looked down at me, and the sun hit his shy face perfectly. His warm brown eyes met my turquoise orbs and I couldn't help but suddenly crave some chocolate covered autumn desserts since his eyes reminded me so much of them. I suddenly missed the month of July, the month of his birth. It felt like I was gazing into a portal that revealed a warm chocolate filled dimension. I was suddenly snapped out of my thoughts when I heard an "Ooh" sound. I turned forward and saw Evan laying on the ground with Bella panicking by his side. His cheek had a couple of sickening cuts on it. Then it hit me (pun not intended). She had spiked him in the face. I bust out laughing and lean back slightly. "W-Well... I-I hope Evan's okay..." I hear a glint of laughter in Adam's tone. "My best friend is such a dork." I replied. I watched as he sat up, and the second he did, she took his face up in her hands and observed the cuts as his face turned red.

I walked with Bella to Nurse Lola's office with Evan by her side. Bella would not stop apologizing to him. "I-I'm like-... r-really so-" "Hey!!" He yelps. Bella's eyes widen. He scratches the back of his neck awkwardly. "I-It's okay... you didn't mean to hurt me." He says. "I'm fine. Really. It stings, but I'll live." He reassures her suddenly growing much quieter. She nods. After a few minutes of kindly chatting with Nurse Lola and disinfecting it (I could've sworn I heard him whimper when she first sprayed it and I think Bella heard it too judging by her facial expression) we left the nurses office. Me and Bella were trying to be really nice and not laugh because he had gotten a Dora bandaid pressed onto his cut. The poor boy can't get a break.

Once we got back outside, class had ended. I got my stuff and told Adam I had to go. "Have a good afternoon...!" I grin shyly. "O-Oh... Okay... s-see you...!" He says before shyly grinning at me. My heart jumps. That smile... "Y-Yeah!! See you!!!" I say a bit too quickly before sharply turning away, causing someone fairly nearby to jump. I jumped from bleacher to bleacher before landing on the ground.
