"Freya" the gentle knock on the door made the girl climb out of her bed to open the door. Rubbing her eyes it took a minute for her vision to come clear "what is it" she said "there's a letter for you. it just arrived in the post" she recognised the voice of her sister and quickly opened the door, wondering who could have sent her mail "thank you. What time is it?" she then asked "almost eight, breakfast will be ready shortly" I nod and watched her walk down the corridor. I turned closing the door behind me as I looked down at the letter in my hand. I knew straight away where it was from when I saw the familiar logo in the corner of the envelop. Hecate was still sound asleep and I was glad. Mixed feelings  where swarming around, ready for the disappointment but at the same time hope. Tearing the letter open I removed the folded parchment and opened it. My heart pounding as I began to read over it. Movement could be heard from the bed so I quickly hid it in the drawers of my dresser. Going over to the bed I got on just as she opened her eyes "good morning" I said smiling at her before leaning down and giving her a peck on the lips "I see your in a good mood. Anything in particular?" she asked. Still smiling I shook my head "nope I'm just glad that I have you" I said. I wanted to wait and tell her what the content of the letter held. She had asked me before, what I was going to do in September. she would be returning to Cackles but I on the other hand hadn't any plans for the future. To be honest I completely forgot I applied with everything going on until I received the letter. Still it should be something I'm proud off.

The table was full of different options to choose from. Apparently Fluer did the cooking this morning which made me wonder what was going on. Fluer wasn't one to cook. Everyone sat down at the table in silence. The grandparents left a few days ago but still managed to come for breakfast each morning. "how is everyone?" dad asked. His health is getting better but he still had to have someone look after his. The colour was starting to come back into his face so that was a good sign "its ok Hecate and I are going out today" I said. I wanted to show her the lake I came across when I first started staying here. A picnic was to be prepared for the day. The minutes went by with small talks before Fluer got everyone's attention. She was nervous and it was very evident on her face "I know its still a bit early but I have an announcement" she paused before looking down to Severus "we have an announcement" Severus cleared his throat before he to stood up beside my sister "what is it my dear?" grandfather asked "Severus and I are getting married" I swear all sound and movement stopped. Fluer was blushing a bright shade of red "that's brilliant!" I exclaimed standing up to walked around the table and give her a hug "I've been waiting ages for this" I could tell by the way Severus adored my sister that he wouldn't wait long before popping the question, claiming his witch in a way "it'll be in the winter. Something small of course" she said sitting back down "as long as you're happy that's all that matters" I said sitting back in my own seat "what do you think dad aren't you happy for Fluer?" I asked facing him. Nothing was really showing on his face until his eyes started to water "I'm not ready to let go off my girls" Fluer and I laughed at his reaction "this is outrageous" the grandmother exclaimed "and why is that?" Fluer asked "he's twice your age. Almost the same age of your father. I wont agree to this" she slammed her hand down onto the table, I flinched at the impact it made "I'll have his job for this" anger was boiling "shut up" I growled out just above a whisper "what was that?" the grandmother asked in my direction. her eyebrows knitted together "I said shut up" I raised my voice louder so I knew she heard "don't you speak to me like that child I'm your grandmother" I rolled my hands into a fist as I stood for the second time "no" I said calmly "no, what do you mean no?" the grandmother asked "no" I shook my head "you are no grandmother of mine" I started "ever since you've met me you've been nothing but cruel. You came into this house, our house and act like you are in charge but you're not" I yelled "Freya please calm down" my dad said holding onto my arm "no father she has to hear what I have to say" I said. He looked defeated and almost relieved when he at down again "you may not like me or my mother but that doesn't mean you have the right to look down on me. I have done nothing wrong and you have no right to tell my sister or me what we can and cannot do. We are adults and can look after ourselves so stay out of it" I said "you be quiet " she stood pulling out her wand and pointing it at me. I was fast at pulling my own want out "I may not have came from your world but I certainly know how to use this wand" I warned but she didn't listen and cast a spell my way. I easily blocked it sending it back at her. She stumbled back, glaring at me "I think it best you leave, you've overstayed your welcome" I said

Watching her command my grandfather to gather their belongings and walking out the door I took a deep breath before falling back down in the chair. My legs to weak to support me "I don't know what just happened" Fluer said in a state of shock "no one has ever stood up to my mother before. Her position is high so no one dared to speak back" dad said "darling that was amazing" a smile was playing on his face as the others where still a bit speechless. I could feel Hecates arm wrap around my waist and she tried to calm me down. What did I just do.
