Fishlegs's POV

Delta and Rowan had been overwhelmed by everything. Although, the second day Delta would randomly start crying and Rowan would go comfort her.

Ruffnut asked her what was wrong but Delta told her nothing.

She's broken.

When all of the villagers had left we were about to follow them when a voice called out, "Wait."

We turned and saw Delta looking at us expectantly.

Rowan walked back to her, "You don't have to do this."

"Yes, I do. He would want me to."

"You, sure?"

She glared at him and he raised his hands.

"So... What do you want to tell us?" Ruffnut asked.

Delta took a deep breath, "I wanted to say..." She was interrupted by a female Raincutter.

The Raincutter started growling. And Delta growled back.

The Raincutter growled again which made Delta and Rowan whisper, "Thank the gods."

As the Raincutter kept growling Delta and Rowan saddened.

When the Raincutter finished, Delta growled back.

"Woah!" Snotlout said.

"What?" Delta asked him.

"You were just..."

"Talking to a dragon, yes. I've been doing it for the past five years I'm surprised you haven't noticed." She finished.

"So, back on task," I said

"Oh! Right! Actually that was important for this. So, Rowan and I found out a week ago that Hiccup, d-decided to go and r-rescue T-toothless."

"It's okay, sis." Rowan hugged her and after a few minutes they pulled apart and she continued.

"T-toothless saved H-hiccup f-from the Dragon C-conqueror. B-but in the pro-process he w-was captured."

"No!" Ruffnut said and ran up and hugged Delta. Delta cried into her shoulder.

Delta continued after less time, "H-hiccup and T-toothless were in the m-middle of Grimmel's territory f-for a w-week."

Her wording was really specific. Almost too specific. "Delta what do you mean by were? Please tell me they're both safely back in the Hidden World."

She looks at me with tears in her eyes. "I could tell you that but it'd be a lie."

We all stared at her.

She continued, "T-toothless, is still trapped. He is somewhere within Grimmel's territory. But, Hiccup he had to give up on his mission. He was chased by Grimmel's dragons and he can't go back or risk being captured. He only managed to free three boats of dragons. Hiccup's safe. But, Toothless is not."

I stared at Delta. Such a Hiccup thing to do. It's too bad he couldn't save Toothless. But, then again if he had stayed around much longer he would've been caught. But, again we need Toothless. But, we also need Hiccup. But we need to free the dragons...

Ruffnut interrupted my thoughts, "Well then we need to work twice as hard."

"Do we have to?" Whined Snotlout.

"Yeah! Why do we need to work twice as hard?" Tuffnut asked. I shook my head in disbelief. So did Delta and Rowan. Ruffnut just rolled her eyes.

"We need to work twice as hard because war has already been declared," Rowan stated. We stared at him.

"How do you know?" Demanded Tuffnut.

"I know because Hiccup sent us a letter telling us that war started a week ago when Toothless was captured because Astrid declared it to them."

"So... Is it official? Like has there been a signing of papers that says that war started?" I asked.

Now everyone was staring at me. "You do realize that dragons can't sign papers and that Grimmel and Drago won't think to ask Astrid? They're probably just going to start fighting." Delta told me.

"Oh. Right. I knew that." I stuttered.

After a few minutes, Delta said, "Guys, playtime is over. Now it is time for war." We nodded our heads and started preparing for tomorrow when the real lessons would begin.

Astrid's POV

I woke up to the feeling of relief. Why do I feel so relieved?

My question was answered five seconds later when a black blur flew straight up in front of me. I took a step back out of shock. I looked up and then felt something land behind me.

I turned to see Hiccup standing there in dragon form.

"Hiccup!" I shouted and ran at him. he enveloped me in his wings. "Bad Hiccup! Very bad Hiccup! You leave without telling me anything except for a note and then all of a sudden come back all by yourself! Don't do these things, you Muttonhead!"

"I'm sorry." Great! Now you've made him sad. Come on, Astrid!

"I hope you found Toothless."

He looked at me with tears in his eyes, "I didn't. Not even close. I nearly died and I had to leave."

"Hiccup..." He turned away. "Hiccup, we'll find him. We'll save him and bring him back home alive. I know we will."

"Swear it?"

"I promise."

"That reminds me, I promise I'll always find you again, Astrid. Even if it takes every second of every day of our entire lives. Even if we're a thousand worlds apart. I will find you. I promise on my soul."

"I promise that I'll always find you as well, Hiccup. I swear it on my heart."

Mist's POV

I loved that Eclipse had forgiven me. I would've been heartbroken if I had to live with her caring about me. And now I could really make it up to her.

It was her birthday. Yay!

It had the perfect day planned for her.

"Mist! Where are you?" She sounded worried. As if, I would mess up so soon.

I called back, "Hurry up, Eclipse we're going to be late!"

"Late for what, exactly?"

"To start your birthday! What else?"

Eclipse laughed. "I was worried you had forgotten!"

I gave her my most mock-offended look, "Never!"

"Well, then, what are we waiting for? You to take a nap?"

I took off and we headed for the island I found the Icelandic cod.

When we got there we spent the rest of the morning fishing and talking.

"So... What's next?" Eclipse asked me.

I took off and signalled for her to follow. We landed on an island brimming with colourful rocks.

"Wow!"

"I knew you would like it!"

After about an hour of collecting rocks, we decided to head back to the sanctuary.

"BEST DAY EVER!!!!!!!" Eclipse shouted. Then she flopped over. "Oof! You know what, I think I better get some rest."

I second later she was sound asleep. I smiled. And laid down next to her. As soon as, my head touched the ground I felt my eyelids grow heavy and sleep took over.
