Preparing for War

Grimmel's POV

Where were they hiding? Drago hadn't been able to find any more dragons. It's like they had all climbed into the sea or disappeared off the face of the Earth.

It was frustrating.

One of Drago's soldiers entered the room, "Sir!"

"What now?"

"Drago insists that he visits you right now, sir."

"Tell him to give me ten more minutes."

"Yes, sir." He said and left.

That Night Fury had woken up however it always seemed to be asleep when I went to visit. My eyes widened.

Idiot! He's been fooling you this whole time!

I quickly ran down. I entered the small room and checked on the dragons. They all coward away from me. I was about to wake the Night Fury up when I heard Drago say, "Grimmel. I have good news."

"What is it?"

"I located a small island brimming with dragons. We captured twice as many as had escaped."

I smile grew on my face. Perfect. "That is wonderful news. How close are we to waging war?"

"We'll likely be ready in two weeks. But first! We must locate these awful Night Furies and that pesky girl."

Drago left to prepare the troops and I was left with the Night Fury. I looked up to see the Night Fury's eyes burrowing into me.

Again I smiled, "What glorious plans I have for you."

Streak's POV

I was sitting at the entrance to the cave I shared with Peace.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"I was just thinking."

"About what?"

I sighed. "What if I never see Toothless again? What if I never see Hiccup again? What will we do if they're both gone?"

She sat there for a minute. "We take care of each other. And our eggs."

I gave her a look 'what eggs?'.

She gave me another look, 'The ones that I'm going to lay soon.'

My eyes widened, "You're with egg?"

"I know. Terrible timing. Whar with the war and all. Because that means that I put the lives of our children at risk. But, I need to fight. I need to help."

"No one is stopping you. You're just trying to make sure that they grow up in a world without the fear of the Fury Killer or the Dragon Conqueror. You're going to be a great mother."

She smiled at me. "Thank you for understanding, you are going to a wonderful father."

We sat there for a few minutes when I saw a Night Fury soar by. He headed towards my family's home. Oh no, he doesn't!

I took off immediately followed by Peace. I landed behind the strange Night Fury and growled a warning.

He turned around surprised and then... he smiled?

"Streak! Hey, how are you?"

"Hiccup?" Peace and I asked at the same time.

"Yeah." He said sadly. Oh no.
