I woke up on a Saturday morning, very happy. The sun was shining brightly through the trees, where the leaves were slowly falling and turning red, orange, yellow, and brown. My phone started to ring.

"Hello?" I answered when I got to the phone.

"Hi, is this Candie?" a voice that sounded like Henry's asked.

"Yeah," I replied.

"Hey, Candie. It's Henry."

"What's up, Henry?"

"My ceiling."

"Mine too."

"Anyway, Charlotte, Jasper, and I are going to the Fall Carnival in Swellview Park. Wanna join us?"

"Sure!"

"Awesome. Let's meet at my house at six, okay?"

"Okay."

"See ya."

Oh.

My.

God.

I had plans for Saturday night.

I'm doing something other than playing the piano and blogging on a Saturday night!

"Eee!" I squealed. I skipped into the kitchen, where my dad was making pancakes.

"Morning, sweetie. You seem happy," he greeted. He put a pancake on my plate. I poured syrup on it.

"Hey, dad?" I said with a mouthful of pancake in my mouth.

"Yes, Candie?" he replied. I swallowed my pancake.

"Can I go to the carnival with a few of my friends?" I asked.

"You have plans?" he questioned. I nodded. "Sure."

I smiled. "Thanks, dad. You're awesome."

The doorbell rang, so I answered it. A young woman with black hair, brown eyes, tanned skin, and a curved figure was at the door. My older sister.

Bella, my older sister.

Was at the door.

"Hi, Candie," she greeted.

"Oh my God. Bella!" I yelled. I hugged her tightly.

"Bella!" my dad yelled, and hugged her too.

It was a morning full of hugging, I'll tell you that.

(Henry's POV)

"Hey, Hen," Charlotte greeted when she answered the phone.

"Hi, Charlotte," I said happily.

"Wow, you're in a good mood. Excited for the Fall Carnival?"

"Yeah. Guess who's coming with us?"

"Candie?"

"Yep."

"Henry. You really like her, don't you?"

"Oh my God. Charlotte..."

"You do! Ha! I knew it! I'm calling Candie right now."

"No!"

"What?"

"Don't tell her that I do!"

"Why not?"

"We just started being friends. I don't want to jeopardize it because I have a crush on her."

"But she likes you, too! Check her blog, it's proof!"
