Unknown POV.

I brought Aero, Thomas, Randy, Drew and Nelson.

"Are you sure about this?" Aero asked, looking towards the woods. "Yeah, I'm not sure about this..." Nelson sighed, putting his head into his mate's lap. I crossed my arms, "Alpha Quinn really needs Ellis back, so do we!" I say. I can see Nelson rethinking it for a quick minute.

"He isn't at his best, because his mate is gone, " Randy said, he was always the smart guy, he might know a lot, but his defense skills are pretty low. "He needs to gain his strength...But, the way to do the is to get Ellis back into his life," Randy babbled on about Alpha Quinn and his feelings.

"You know...If this girl doesn't come back, Alpha Quinn will most likely die without her in his life..." Everyone was staring at Randy with big eyes. "Th-That can't happen!" Nelson says, sitting up.

"Uh, we need to go now!" Drew says, pushing everyone out the door.

We took a piece of Ellis's t-shirt that she had forgotten here, and sniffed it, for her scent. Her scent was a combination of mint and a little bit of fresh flowers. Once we figured out which way to go, we sprung into the deep woods.

Ellis's POV.

I woke up, with the sun blinding my eyes. After Dakota and I had our little mini 'session', I was trying to avoid him. Only because Jess told me that Essence was totally bad news.

I get out of bed, and get a nice warm bath in, before someone comes bursting into my room. When my bath was over, I went into the closet, and picked out a tie-die hoodie and jeans with rips in them. I slipped on some black converses, and left the resting quarters. On my mission to avoid Dakota, I was gonna go to my classes, and go out for a run.

I jogged to the school building, next to the library. I quickly tied my hair into a long braid on my right shoulder.

I find the Art room, and slip into a seat next to twins. They both had the same green eyes, and chisled faces, with sly smirks stuck to their faces. "Ah, you must be Ellis, eh?" The first guy said, picking with his shirt collar. "Yeah, you are?" I asked, as a girl turns around, and seductively smiles at the twin.

He bobs his head at her, then brings his attention to me. "Hansen, that's Hansel..." He says, pointing at his identical brother. Hansel glanced at us, then back at his drawing. I peeked over his shoulder, to see a beautiful drawing of a girl with dark hair, and green eyes. "Awww!" I gushed. Hansel noticed me looking, and quickly closed the notebook.

"Haha, I seen it already! It's very pretty." I tell Hansel. He blushes, and creaked open the notebook. "It's my mate, Elizabeth Spencers..." He says, looking at with dark hair, and green eyes girl; like the picture. I looked at the girl, and glanced at the drawing. She did look like the picture.

Just then, a man came in, with piercing eyes. "That's Mr. Den, very strict..." I heard Hansen whispered, noticing my tenseness. I parted my lips, and nodded...like I understood. Mr. Den straightened out his black blazer, and eyed all of us. "Goodmorning, students," He says, as I caught his eye.

"Oh? You must be Ellis Whilst" He squints at me, as I throw him a cheesey smile. He gives me a weary smile, and continues. "Well, today, you will all be doing an art project," He says, taking a fresh piece of chalk from the orange box. He writes Art Projects Due November 27. Today was November 14, must be an important project.

"You can have partners if you want, or you can work alone, if you do have a partner, stay after class..." Mr. Den says, putting his chalk down. "You have to recreate a famous piece of art, in your image!" Mr. Den says, smiling at all of us. I smile at his sudden cheerfulness. "You only have five more minutes, so get ready to leave." Mr. Den says, siting at his desk.

Most kids were partnering up with their mates, obviously. I sat there, and looked around, desperately.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

The bell rang, and most of the kids stayed. I sighed, and left the class.

Dakota's POV.

I was in my office, just finishing some small paperwork, when Essence popped in. "Hey, Dakota..." She says, groggily. I knitted my eyebrows, looking at the clock, 1:23pm. "It's one in the afternoon, and your just waking up?" I asked, logging off the computer. "Yeah, I just woke up..." She yawns, and sits on my lap.

"So, what are we doing today?" She asked, looking down at me with anticipation. I shrugged, "Um...well, maybe we can stay here and cuddle and watch movies!" Essence smiles, showing her white teeth. "Of course, baby..." I say, kissing her lips. She kisses back, but I can't really feel the sparks I used to.

I break the kiss, and she frowns. "Why'd you stop, hun?" She says, rubbing her hand on my shoulders. "Is it because of that Ellis chick?! I knew it!" She shouts, getting off my lap. I can't really bring myself to question her conclusions. "Baby, it's not her, I'm just stressed, let's go watch those movies..." I say, grabbing her hand.

She relaxes her hand in mine, as I take her back to our room.

When we make it back, Essence takes her time picking movies. I take off my shirt, and lay on the bed. I sighed, as Essence joined me on the bed. "I picked some scary movies, and one romantic one." Essence says, as the first movie starts. She nuzzled her head on my chest, as I lean back against the headboard. I placed my chin on her head, and watched the movie.

It was about five o'clock, and Essence had fallen asleep on me. I grabbed the remote, and turned the TV off. I pull both of our bodies under the white sheets, and I also fell asleep, stroking her arm.
