Carlos' POV

"SUPRISE! HAPLY BIRTHDAY CARLOS!!"

I looked and saw music, streamers, balloons, gifts everything.

"No! No!.Stop it!" I screamed, shaking.

The music stoped as everyone looked at me.

"Carlos what's wrong?" Mal asked.

"S-Stop! I-I-I don't want a party! H-He's n-not—" I started to cry and ran off as fast as I could.

I heard people yelling my name, but kept running.

I ran all the way to the enchanted lake and sat down. I started to sob.

*Mal starts to walk and sees Carlos*

Carlos' POV

I sat down and started to sob again. "Carlos?" I heard a voice.

I turned around and saw Mal.

"Carlos" she whispered and sat next to me.

I started crying in her chest. "I'm not o-okay" I sobbed.

Mal's POV

"What's wrong?" I questioned, hugging him. "Hell, today was the day Cameron died" Carlos cried.

Oh no! I forgot!

"It j-just feels s-so wrong to c-celab-brate m-my birthday without h-him" Carlos sobbed.

"Carlos I know it's hard" I whispered. "It is! He's never coming back! He's gone. I was there for him! He was always there for me. And he's gone!" Carlos screamed, shaking a lot.

"Carlos calm down" I said. He started to breathe heavily.

"Carlos, calm, deep breaths" I said. He just started to take deep breaths and breathe quickly

I remember the doctor gave me some tablets for him incase he had a panic attack.

I took one out of my bag and Carlos swallows it with water from my bag.

He took a deep breath. "You wanna talk about it?" I asked. "No! I just want this fucking day to be over with!" Carlos yelled, shaking more.

"Carlos let's go back" I said. He sniffed and nodded.

We started to walk and hold hands.

"Carlos?" I asked. "Yeah" he replied.

"When I told you that I loved you. Do you love me?' I questioned. He stopped walking.

He put his hands on the bridge.

"I don't know what love feels like" Carlos frowned.

"Well maybe, I can show you" I smiled.

I pulled Carlos down and started to kiss him.

Carlos was hesitant and started to kiss back, wrapping his hands around my waist.

I smiled as we pulled away.

"Do you want some sleep?" I asked. He nodded. We started to walk to the dorms.

"Well, I guess this is my stop" Carlos smiled.

"See you tomorrow pup" I chuckled. He rolled his eyes playfully and left.
