I apologize for all the author's notes. Before I make this announcement, I just want to thank all of you for your support and let you know that this is most likely not directed at you.
I just want to make one thing really clear. This book is rated R and I've said this before. I realize that a lot of kids nowadays think they know everything so it doesn't matter, but commenting on my age warning and saying that you're "only 13 and you know as much about this as me, and 7 year olds know about this" is not demonstrating how "mature" you are. It's immaturity. It's a way to get blocked. It's not a good idea to read this book if you're underaged not only because of the sex scenes, it's because Cg/l relationships are for consenting ADULTS. If you have never been in this type of relationship it's not healthy to base it off my writing. If kids are going around fetishizing this, that's the line between legal sexual activity and child exploitation. As someone who studies the criminal law, I have to make this distinction.
I apologize to everyone else who has to hear this rant. Actually, I'm sorry.
