It was a normal Monday, but years into the future. Adrian was at school and Natalie was doing some work, thinking about Gabriel. She had recently moved in with them after solving the hawkmoth and mayura problem, since Gabriel had proposed to her. She was now officially ms. Agreste, but she was still getting used to it.
All of a sudden in the middle of writing a paper, she felt a bad pain in her head and chest.
"Ack-!" She felt bad, but the pain stopped in a few minutes. "Odd..." She thought if she took a few painkillers, duusu was next to her and saw.
"Miss nathalie? What happened are you in pain?" The little Kwami asks
"I'm fine duusu... Why wouldn't I be fine?"
"I heard you yell in pain, I'm right next to you you know."
"It's fine, I don't think I got a lot of sleep last night." The night before Gabriel and Natalie were up all night, of course in each others arms. Unfortunately, the peacock miraculous had messed with her and was now she was sterile.
"Well we can just tell Gabriel and-" the kwami was cut off
"I'm fine." Natalie says in a cold tone
"Alright... But you should really rest later..." Duusu says
Nathalie sighs does the rest of the paper without any worry.
She was going to give it to Gabriel when she got up, she was able to walk a few steps but immediately fell unable to walk
"Ow!" She sat up and held her legs and chest, Gabriel heard and came running in. He had noticed a few hours before that she didn't look too well, "nathalie? Sweetheart what's wrong?" He picked her up and brought her to bed, laying her down.
"H-honey I'm fine..." Her headache started to return
"I can clearly see you're not, do you need a doctor?"
Natalie shook her head "only if it gets worse..."
Gabriel laid down next to her, pulling the blanket over her.
"Take the day off, my peafowl."
"I can't i-"
"We can deal with that later, your unwell." Gabriel cut her off
"Fine... But only because I love you..." She looked at the ring on her finger.
"And I love you too." Gabriel kisses her cheek.
"I'll get you some tea and medicine." Gabriel got up and closed the door behind him, getting tea and different types of medicines.
"I don't get it... I mean I didn't get any sleep last night but..." Natalie was thinking of reasons why she could be sick, Gabriel returned to her. Nathalie was shivering and had a noticeable fever, what was going on?
