Soobin bit the inside of his cheek while he stood outside the door of his new class room. Soobin wouldn't say he was scared, he was just new to the whole 'making new friends' gimmick.

He had never had to make new friends at a new school because this was in fact his first time going to a new school.

Never the less, he opened the door to his new class room silently and walked in. As soon as he walked in, all eyes shifted to him. This made soobin regret being tall for the first time.

The teacher smiled before he gestured for Soobin to come to the front of the classroom. Soobin wasted no time walking to the front of the class with shaky breath.

"Listen up students, this is the new student I was talking about earlier, he will be joining our class for the rest of the school year" The teacher said with a cheeky smile.

"Go ahead and Introduce yourself" The teacher whispered over to Soobin.

Soobin stood there with a small smile on his face. "Hello, my name is choi Soobin, I hope we can all be good friends" He said before giving a bow.

Soobin had just moved with his father to a new town. Soobin was a little sad to leave his child hood friends Kai and Taehyun behind in his home town. But so far they've all been keeping good contact with each other.

"Okay, Soobin you'll be seated by Beomgyu. Beomgyu please raise your hand" The teacher said with small hand gestures.

A boy two rows down raised his hand with pride and a big smile on his face. "Okay..." Soobin said under his breath as he walked to the empty desk next to Beomgyu. He sat down and pulled out his supplies for this class before he looked ahead and tried to see what the class was learning.

"Psst!"

Soobin raised his eyebrow as he turned to look at Beomgyu. "That was an oddly loud psst" Soobin said in whisper. "I thought you wouldn't hear me if I whispered" Beomgyu said with a small smile.

"Well what do you need?" Soobin asked while tapping his pencil. "Can we be friends, I kinda don't have any because I'm the 'dumb kid' but I'm actually pretty smart" Beomgyu said with an uneasy smile.

"Your smile is saying otherwise" Soobin said leaning back. "Oh please please please, I've been so lonely.. Even late at night" Beomgyu said dramatically. Soobin was starting to wonder why the teacher hasn't heard Beomgyu's loud talking by now.

"That last part sounds like a personal problem" Soobin said with a small smile. "But fine, only because my friends are back home" Soobin said with a sigh and a shrug.

"You keep your friends at your house?" Beomgyu asked while tilting his head to the side.

"Maybe you should pay attention to class yeah" Soobin said with an uneasy laugh before looking back to the front of the class.

So much for a new school.

"I didn't know we had to pay for our food" Soobin whined at they say down at a small table. "It's okay Soobin, you should just be lucky that I had a spare five bucks on me so I could get you that pizza combo" Beomgyu said pointing to to the two slices of pizza with some juice.

"Yeah thanks.. I'll pay you back tomorrow" Soobin said with a smile before get started eating his pizza.

Right when Soobin reached for his juice someone's voice went through the cafeteria.

"CHOI!!"

"huh?" Soobin said turning around. "Not you idiot" Beomgyu said with a quiver in his voice. "Oh right I forgot we're the only Choi's in this school" Soobin said with a small laugh. "No we aren't" Beomgyu said as he looked behind Soobin. "What?... What are you looking at?" He asked as turned back around.

The first thing that caught his eye was a tall boy with dark blue hair. As soobins eye's scanned down his body he noticed the boy wearing mostly black from head to toe. The only color that stood out was his hair and the red graphic design on his shirt.

Almost everyone eyes were on him as he made his way over to both soobin and beomgyu, his eyes fixed on beomgyu.

"Hand over your money" The mystery boy said walking next to Beomgyu. Beomgyu bit his lip as he looked down. "I don't have any left over money today Yeonjun" Beomgyu mumbled.

Yeonjun just let out a scoff before hitting Beomgyu in the back of the head. "Thats probably because you keep buying the big lunches, you shouldn't be that hungry around this time. Your just getting fat" Yeonjun said with a smirk as he watch Beomgyu's face turn from scared to sad.

"I didn't even buy a lot today Yeonjun.. Plus my friend didn't have any money for a lunch so that's where all my money went" Beomgyu said picking with his fingers.

"Wow you finally made a friend huh" Yeonjun said with a laugh. "Hey" Soobin said finally saying something. "That's not really nice, his money is his and it's not yours to take" Soobin said looking up at Yeonjun since him and Beomgyu were sitting while Yeonjun was standing.

Yeonjun scoffed at soobins words and finally acknowledged his existence.

"Oh.. You must be new here huh?" Yeonjun said with a small smile. "Yeah" Soobin said with a nod before quickly looking at Beomgyu who was still looking down.

"Then you must not know me" Yeonjun said walking closer to Soobin.
"Yeonjun don't hurt him he didn't do anything" Beomgyu said looking up at Yeonjun.

"Shut up before I beat your ass Beomgyu" Yeonjun said causing Beomgyu to jump. "Sorry" Beomgyu said quickly.

"You aren't gonna touch Beomgyu" Soobin said making Yeonjun smirk down at him. "And what are you gonna do about it?" Yeonjun asked. Soobin clicked his tongue and stood from his seat, towering over Yeonjun.

"I don't give two shits if I get in trouble for it, but I'll beat your ass myself if you think about laying a finger on Beomgyu" soobin said with a monotone voice as Yeonjun looked up at him.

Yeonjun looked away from Soobin as his jaw ticked. "I'll keep an eye on you" He said before walked pass Soobin; Yeonjun didn't forget to hit Soobin's shoulder with his own.

After Yeonjun was gone Soobin turned back to Beomgyu and smiled. "Are you okay?" He asked sitting back down. "Holy shit Soobin" Beomgyu said with a shocked expression

"What?" Soobin asked as he continued to eat his pizza. "You just looked down at baddest person in this school like he was nothing" Beomgyu said with a squeal.

"Him bullying you and taking your money doesn't make him bad, it makes him a jerk" Soobin said shrugging his shoulders. Soobin didn't care if he was new, but it annoyes him when he sees people bullying someone else. That's actually how Soobin and Kai became Friends.

When Soobin was in first grade, they had to do a small project and tell what they wanted to be when they grew up. Kai has told the whole class with bright eyes and a big smile that he wanted to be a cheerleader.

But of course the boys found it gross and disgusting and picked on him during recess. When Soobin saw, he wasted no time scaring the boys off by using his height and saying he was a third grader, till this day he's shocked that they believed him. After that Kai and Soobin became best buds.

"I owe you one Soobin.. I really do" Beomgyu said nodding his head before going back to eating.

"Well I mean... You are my friend, and friends have to stick up for each other " Soobin said with a warm smile.

"Awe.. That was so nice" Beomgyu said putting his hand over his heart. "But if we ever get in a fight I just want you to know I have no fighting skills so your on your own" Beomgyu said with a smile while clicking his tongue.

"Noted" Soobin said with a laugh.
