Nov 10th, 7:07 P.M.

The three of you were inside the car, you and Connor in the backseat, waiting outside the college. Everything was silent for a moment. The android beside you had his eyes closed for a while. Your godfather, resting his hands on the steering wheel, broke the silence.

"So... this is it. You guys ready?"

You nodded slowly, feeling the weak anxiety drip slowly inside your chest as well.

"Let's be positive." Connor said. "This our chance to do what is right."

"You're right, Robocop." You agreed. "Let's go."

You both moved to get out of the car. "You better be home at ten, young lady." Hank teased. " Don't want me to pick you up in front of everyone the like last time, do ya?"

"Hank!" You barked in embarrassment. "Prom was seven years ago!"

You saw him chuckle before leaving you two in front of DUAT. It was just Connor and you this time. No Hank. No backup. Just him and you. But that's okay, you got each other's back. That's what friends do. And Connor's your friend, right?

You try to avoid thinking about this friendship with Connor. And try to not to make it personal. But it's hard to look at him the same way as before without thinking about what Hank said earlier. What does he have that's so special to you, anyways? Freckles? A cute face? A high level of intelligence and common sense?

"(Y/N), are you alright?" The android's touch on your left shoulder woke you from your thoughts.

"Yeah, um.. I'm just a bit thoughtful today." You explained. "Wondering what will happen after we catch that android couple..."

"Don't worry, we got this." He chose to be soothing, yet objective. "Don't focus on what will happen in the future right now, we got a mission to accomplish at this moment."

You nodded in comprehension, although you thought this was "his" mission at the end, and not yours. The two of you entered the building, and walked toward the main hall. You could hear the loud music as you walked in.

Connor wandered his chocolate eyes around the place, analyzing every single thing in his peripheral vision. The colorful lights brought the place to life, in a way you couldn't even imagine that place was a prestigious college. They did an awesome job, though. And you helped!

"Wow..." You mouth opened. "the premium party pack really came in handy, huh?"

"I see there's a lot of couples in here..." Connor commented.

"What?" You followed his eyes directions. Sure there was a lot of people kissing and hugging each other. "Ha! Most of these people don't even know each other.."

"Then why are they kissing?" He questioned.

"You see, it's pretty normal to see this kind of thing.. Friends making out sometimes. It's a human thing, you wouldn't understand." You cleared your throat as the music got a little bit louder. "Let's get going! Those android mustn't be far from us."

"Sure," He said. "do you remember their models?"

"Both are assistants. You'll recognize 'em."

You sighed as you watched the crowd dance excitedly.

People may find it strange if we act like we're looking for something... If those androids are around, they can recognize Connor's face immediately. We need to blend in.

"Connor," You called. "I have a plan. We gotta be more sociable eventually, can't act suspicious."

"I know." He said.
