Morning has arrived, yesterday it took hours for them to find their home. The siblings get ready for school once more, but they seem to be less enthusiastic compared to yesterday. Their experience of their first day of school has already taken effect.
Ken as always, was the last one to gather with the others. He sees his brothers and sister sitting at the table, eating their breakfast, all of them having an interest to the cereal. He sat with them, noticing Kassy is mopping.
"Hey sis, something wrong?"
Ken grabbed a bowl, filling it with cereal and milk then starts eating. Kassy lets out a sigh, playing with her spoon between her fingers, resting her cheek on her palm.
"It's that boy and his cat, I feel so terrible about embarrassing him in front of everyone and that cat probably hates me now"
She groans but Ken gave her a pat on the back to comfort her.
"How about this, today you can go see him and apologize. Maybe you two might even become friends and...maybe he'll let you pet that cat"
Kashi placed more enthusiasm on the last part of his sentence, knowing her love of animals. Kassy then gives in, she sat up as she took one big bite of her cereal.
"Alright, if there's a chance that I can be friends with him then I'll have to take it or else the guilt will take over"
She seem more determined, placing a smile on Kashi's face.
Shortly after, they all finished their breakfast and head out of their house. Unlike last night, they memorized the route between their house and Valor Academy.
All of them luckily arrived to the academy in time, all of them parting to their classes. Ken, Kassy, and Arthur arrived to their magic classes. Their heads were filled with the possibilities of what could happen, will Blitz be even in class today?
The three siblings enter the room, noticing an actual normal class, well normal as it can get. A new teacher, the old one was probably in the hospital. The students including the beaten down mage were in their seats, but what surprised them was Blitz was there to! Blitz has multiple bandages on his body, one wrapped around his forehead.
"I didn't expect him to be here to be honest, do you think he still despise us?"
Arthur whispered over to Ken, responded by a shrug. The three notice the array of seats that weren't here yesterday, the siblings pick their seats but of course they only picked seats that were close to each other. But there's one problem, in order to have seats together, one of them has to be in front of Blitz. Ken decided to take the sacrifice and sit in front of Blitz's seat, hoping he doesn't react but surprisingly, Blitz just rested his cheek on the palm of his hand as he stared out of the window.
Today was simple, an introduction to the basics of magic and a small history lesson in form of a lecture.
"Each living being is horned by a small piece of magic inside us, the normal human being can live their entire life with that tiny piece but if you train in the arts of magic, that small piece will become bigger and bigger. But in order to properly use magic, the Great Arch Mages created categories or in better terms type of magic. But you may be asking, whah are the Great Arch Mages? They were a society of mages, some say they were the first ones to ever discover magic and create spells. Kingdoms of men and the society were considered allies but after an unknown accident, all of them disappeared, the knowledge of their existence and their teaching kept within the kingdom"
