Sabina POV

     In a minute the whole place was crowded, and cool music was booming, everyone was relishing themselves except me who was receiving murderer glares from (my darling would-be sister in-law) ada tima as Ahyan calls her.

after minutes of dining, the mc announced its time for award, the person by the name Awwal mai basira mar’uf, received “most generous award” and everyone applauded, he received the ward and stepped down from the stage

they called Ahyan Muhammad, and all the girls started shouting the moment he stepped on stage and I rolled my eyes he received “most popular award”and we applauded

three ladies, zainab Abubakar, Halima Abubakar and maimuna musa, received “best squad award”,they stepped to the stage and collected their award.

Muhammed Abbas Uba received “best class representative” award.

Ahyan Muhammad was called again for “most handsome”, zoya shoved my shoulder and I smiled, but the smile varnished when I saw ada tima eyeing me,

oh lord what did I do to this lady, “have heard of love at first sight but never hate at first sight, ya Allah sabr (patience) please because I have a bad temper,

the moment Ahyan came back with his second award, ada tima announced  she’s leaving, i said bye to her but she ignored and waved at zoya and Hanif instead, Ahyan escorted her out and came back few minutes later.

after the awarding session the mc announced again it’s time for betting couple dance, ladies drops cash to dance with most handsome receiver, Ahyan, my Ahyan, I just smirked waiting for the b**h that will come out,

a lady dressed in blue gown raised her hand, 20k

“my Ahyan too expensive for that, I smirked,

another lady who looks like she’s in her late 20s raised her hand 40k,

my Ahyan too young for that, I smirked again and sip my cocktail

another one 60k,... another 70k, another one 80k.

“ke (hey) Sabina what are waiting for” zoya whispered to me and I signaled her “wait”

the first lady raised her hand again 100k, the mc kept repeating and it seems like no one is willing to beat her, which made her smile

“you want my Ahyan that bad honey but mama birth no broke b***h, I said and Ahyan winked at me,

"thank you for hustling dad, I mentally said to myself and raised my hand 200k and everyone shouts as me and Ahyan got up,

I’m the worst dancer in the world but Ahyan is way worse, the dj played her majesty by Peruzzi
