I wait for Noor outside the main building. I see her dark fringe and strong jawline and make my way to her.
"Hey, I saw you Saturday at the warehouse." I say trying to be casual.
"You were there? Must have missed you or something." She says apologetically.
"Yeah, I saw you with a guy there. Are you guys dating, because if so we can have a double date with Britt, me, you and that guy." I calculate my words carefully as to not give away that I already know who he is.
"No, we met Saturday. I really like him and hope something comes out of this. I'll let you know about your offer in a week or so." She says and I can't help but feel sad for not talking to him.
"He is a skater boy, you know. I just love listening to Avril Lavigne's song just because of that" she adds. I'm ecstatic, because I have something to work with here. He probably hangs out afternoons at the skatepark.
I don't want her to see me like this and get the wrong idea, so I wave goodbye and ride my bike home.
What am I doing? I just want to see him again, I won't pursue him. Maybe just watch from the distance.
