Chapter 1: inheritance

Camila's pov

*knock *knock *knock *

I heard someone knocking on my door for the last 15 minutes and it's driving me crazy. I just wanted sleep after partying for 12 hours straight with my boyfriend. I roll out of my comfortable bed growling.

"What!!!" I yelled getting up and opening the door.

"Sorry miss Mr. Cabello ordered me to take you to him right away otherwise he will fire me " said the maid without even looking at me.

A sigh escaped from my lips because I already know why he was asking for me.

"lead the way " I said to not want to create trouble for anyone, I know people think I'm horrible maybe I am but sometimes I'm  also thinking about others.

"Hey papa can I come in?" I asked with a sweet voice, he nodded

"Look Camila I don't want to waste either of our time so I will get directly into my point " My dad told me looking directly into my eyes with so much disappointment and sadness.

"which is?" I said

"I told you one month ago that if you ever get in trouble I will take your liberty and this time you crossed your limits, do you even know in which condition I had to find you ?!" He said raising his voice

"What do you mean?" I said furrowing my eyebrows

"I had to find you passed out in some random hospital, they said it was nothing serious but you lost consciousnes for over drinking and heroine! And if this was not enough I also had to deal with police, and you know what else they told me ?" He said disappointed and mad

"Wh-what??"I asked scared trying to remember what else i did. 

"They found you naked! Naked with a boy that I guess is your useless boyfriend and a girl both terrified that you were dead" he said

" Papa I'm sorry for everything that happened ok! This time I assure you that nothing like that will happen again I promise you" I asked him with pleading eyes.

" No that was my last straw" he said turning his head away from me.

"Papa please I beg you I'm really in a better place now, don't destroy it, and you know I have lot of other responsibilities so please forgive me and move on " i said desperate

" I don't care, your great grandfather built this company and I won't let you destroy everything we built " he said

"But I'm doing great papa, I'm literally the number one business woman in the world in just one year " i said on the verge of tears.

" I'm not denying the fact that you are excellent at what you do, no one can because you already proved to us that you are capable but that's not the reason why I'm worried " he said

"What is it then ? " I asked

"Your reckless behaviour is" he said sternly

"Look I might party a lot but that doesn't mean I'm not going to take my responsibility seriously " i said

"You not being serious is not my point but if you keep doing this to yourself you will lose everything, believe me I've been there I was losing everything as fast as lightning but thanks to your mom I was able get everything on going " he said

" I don't understand papa what I am doing wrong?" I asked not understanding what i do wrong.

"The path that you chose that's what is wrong but it's useless that I tell you because I remember giving you the same speech last month but did work, did it?" He said getting worked up again

"So what's on your mind then?" I asked, getting agitated

"I'm going to give you two options:
First I'm going to freeze all your accounts and remove you from the CEO position and send you to Cuba so you can learn to live a normal and decent life " he said

"No! this is absolutely insane , you know how much I work for being in this position you just can't take this away from me" i said raising my voice

"You still have option two" he said

"Which is?" I asked not liking where this is going.

"Marry someone that I choose for you and you can't divorce at least for one year " he said and i completely lost it. My old man has completely lost his marbles!

" Are you even listening to yourself! These options are fucking ridiculous, if you don't remember I have a boyfriend, i'm not going to do any of them, I don't care about the  consequences!!" I said yelling at him

"Well You have time but remember if you don't agree to do any of them I'm going to DISOWN you" he said as calm as possible while i was going balistic with everything he was saying to me.

How can't he do that to me i have been nothing but successful to the company, only because i go to a few parties and i go with my boyfriend doesn't give him the right to do such ridiculous decisions.

Disown !

That world has been playing on and on my head like a broken disk.

He can't do this to me .... he is my dad, he loves more than anything.

Maybe that's why he is doing this!!! My subconscious said

But is he able to disown me ??? I asked myself

Oh hell he is! My subconscious spoke again

But these options, none of them are in my favor. I can't accept the first one because I worked to hard to be where i am. But I can't accept either the second option because I have a boyfriend who I love dearly.

So now what am I going to do ?

"Wait papa, what if I choose the second option..... who I'm going to get married to?" I asked thinking about this ridiculous postion my dad put me through.

" One of my best employees who I trust the most and I know after your marriage with her she can take you through the right path" he said

Did he just said SHE and a employee ! Oh my God!! What did i ever do to deserve such bullshit. God take me now!

What the fuck

"Who papa? Who?" I just sounded like an owl. But this has gone way to far i need to know.

"Lauren Jauragui" he said and left leaving me speechless with my jaw wide open and my eyes wanting to leave my face.
