The school bell rang, signalling the first day of school was over. Heejin packed up her things and was ready to leave. Beomgyu who has been staring at her finally approached her.
Beomgyu: Jeon Heejin.
Heejin looked at him.
Beomgyu: Thank you for that other day. You helped me out by picking up the book I left.
Heejin kept her mouth shut, only to tilt her head in confused.
Beomgyu: Remember? At the station?
Heejin furrowed her eyebrows and left the classroom without saying anything.
Beomgyu: Jeon Heejin!
Beomgyu called while running after her who's already outside the school building.
Heejin turned to look at him.
Beomgyu: Will you... be my friend? *extends his hand*
Heejin stared at him for a second then looked away.
Heejin: I can't. *walks away*
Beomgyu finally got to hear her voice but not sure if he's pleasant considering her answer. He stared at her for some moment before sighing.
Beomgyu: 'I just really wanted to become friends with her'.
