Talent - 7

I'm hanging out with James, West, Riley and Eldon at Hidolgo's just talking and drinking juice. 

"I can't believe we are actually going to internationals!" I say, excitement dripping from my voice.

"Yeah! And we are going to Miami!" James says, "I have been working on my Spanish, te ves mal!"

"Yeah, what do you think you just said, man?" West asks.

"You look amazing?" He answers.

We all begin to laugh, although he looks confused.

"You just said 'you look bad' if you wanted to say 'you look amazing' say 'te ves increíble' okay?" I say.
"Just so you don't embarrass yourself"

"Wait, your really good at linguistics" Riley says.

" how many languages do you know?" Eldon asks.

"Well I'm fluent in French, Spanish, Italian and I know a little Chinese, Japanese, Polish and Indonesian." I say in a nonchalant way.

"Wow. Teach. Me. Your. Ways." James says with a chuckle.

"Well I am half Spanish, due to my father and I know French because of my grandma. So I guess get a multi-lingual family?" I joke with him.

I take a sip of my juice, when we all get a text from Ms Kate, 'come to Studio A, I have decided who the featured dancers are going to be.'

"We should probably get going" Eldon says.

"Yeah. Let's go! We find out the featured dancers!" Riley replies as we all head for the studio.

A few days ago. We auditioned for all our feature dances, and now we are gonna find out the results.

"Hey guys, you ready?" Kate yells.

We answer by either nodding or yelling yeah.

"Okay, well I'd like to start by announcing who our alternates with be...." she pauses as we all become super nervous, no one want to become and alternate dancer. "First will be Michelle and our second will be.... I haven't decided yet. I'm sorry michelle but I think it's best for the team."

She looks disappointed but tries her best to hide it, but it's obvious.

"And secondly I would like to announce some dances. But since The internationals board is being really vague not all dances will be performed. I would like to see:
-A trio from Giselle, Ellie & Tahlia
- Small group by Riley, Giselle, Cierra, Michelle and Ellie
- Another small group by Max, Giselle, West, Riley and James
-Our Male Soloist, even though there was a small battle is Eldon
-and finally our Female Soloist is Riley."

We all give a round of applause for everyone and we work on our full group routines.

I'm sitting in hidolgo's with Cierra and Noah, just talking out Internationals and how excited we are.

"I can't believe we actually get to go to Internationals, Esta va a ser una experiencia increíble!" This is going to be an amazing experience! I say with excitement until my face falls, "Sorry. I do that sometimes." I say awkwardly.

"Yeah, I know, I've grown up with it!" Noah jokes, "you do it when your either when your really happy or really mad, Vice versa."

"It's so cool that you can speak different languages!"

"Yeah it-" Noah continues speaking but while his talking James accidentally bumped our table, Noah's drink falling off by the action. But he caught it straight away "-is really cool."

"WhAt DiD yOu JuSt Do?!" West Asks coming up behind Noah and I.

"I-I don't know?" He says turning around.

"No. No you just caught that glass without spilling any contents onto the floor."

"It's nothing really." Noah acts like he did nothing.

"Alright." Eldon tests Noah by holding the glass of milk in the air, then dropping it. Noah ofcourse catches it.

Cierra and I exchange a look before she blurts out, "Noah! Your a freak."

"That's crazy good" I say making eye contact with him.

" we're gonna have to check this out." Eldon says.

"We?" Noah asks.

"Yeah." West, Cierra and I say in sync.

" Time for some some investigating" Cierra says.

We gather and audience and place Noah at one end of the room and us at the other. We then begin throwing things at him and to our surprise he's catching everything; Lemons, bottles, apples, juices, bread you name it he caught it.

"We're gonna make this more challenging, turn around." West says and Noah does as asked.

"Alright Noah, catch this." I say before I throw and apple at him and he catches it! "No way! How have I never known about this?" I say walking up to him.

"I don't actually know." He laughs and we all join him.

We step it up a notch by playing dodge ball, and he is amazing, he even is flipping.

We make Studio A, pitch black dark. Noah can't see because of a blindfold, but Eldon, West, Cierra and I can - because we have nightvision goggles.

"Marco?" Noah starts.

"Polo!" I we all reply.

"Come on Eldon?" He says as he finds Eldon.

"What's going on Cierra?" He says again as he shakes her shoulder.

" why are you doing something like jellyfish dancing?" He says to West.

Then it's my turn, I just follow him around until he stops turns around and scoops me up in his arms.

"Hey Peanut" he says a big smile on his face.

"Ace." I laugh as he puts me down.

West think he can out smart Noah so he takes off his shoe and throws it at him. But Noah can sense it and he drags me down too. "Thanks" I whisper.

"Come on man! That hit me in the throat!" Eldon complains. " you know what I'm gonna go find a building to throw Noah off and you too west!" And with that we all laugh as he stomps out.
