I saw him first. I'll always live by that. From his black curly hair to his matching clothes. I wanted to know him...then I did. I can see his bright brown eyes that almost seem gold at times. They remind me of the warm Oklahoma dirt in the summer when I gardened and chocolate chip cookies. His smile is so bright and when you really get to see it, it's the most beautiful thing. His silly faces are the cutest things I've ever seen and it's my favorite when he scrunches up his face and smiles when I make him blush which is only if I'm lucky. It's the cutest thing when he gets jealous if I wear a cut off shirt or my uniform skirts. He makes me look forward to the school day and makes it worthwhile. His hugs make me feel special and comfortable. I melt when he kisses my cheek and my heart stops when we talk while he hugs me. He's seen me break and crumble and he still loves me. He accepts the parts I've shown him that I'm scared to show people and he still loves me. I've seen him break and crumble and I still love him. I accept the parts he's shown me that he's scared to show people and I still love him. He's my sunshine. He brings light to my world. And it's a strange feeling.
