Dispatch has reported that back in 2016, before Lay of EXO and Hyejin of Red Velvet broke up, Lay had been seeing Kyulkyung ex member of disbanded group, Pristin. This comes out after Dispatch shows pictures of the two out on a date while filming Idol Producer. This comes to light after old reports of Lay and Hyejin came back and had many people wondering if they were indeed dating/ still dating, because of that, Hyejin had done an interview when she talked about the infidelity, but she did not mention any names. Since this news has been put out into the public, Hyejin has put all her social media on private. When the news broke out many people started stating how disappointed they are in Lay but soon the focus went to Hyejin, while some were feeling sorry for the girl, others were blaming her for Lay's scandal, bombarding her social media with hate comments before she made them private.
