Naira's POV
What attitude that Mr.Kartik has got , he can't even talk properly. I was not feeling hungry anymore , so I took my clutch and walked out of the restaurant and I can feel the gaze on me especially by him. I walked out in the garden and sat infront of the fountain. Aisha Cooper , my new identity has to lure Kartik , has to get close to Kartik , how will she do that , I buried my face in my palms"
Naira's POV Ends
Naira after sometime got up and went in the reception area to take the lift. She was waiting infront of the lift , it was pretty late , like 1am.
When lift opened , two men in Black tuxedos came out , but when Naira was trying to go in , they blocked her way
" Excuse me , please" Naira said with a calm voice
" Who are you?" Said one man
" None of your business mister , now please get out of my way" Naira said with a little higher tone
" Oh really? Let's see" the same man said
And they both started to walk towards , trapping her between the wall and themselves. One man forwarded his hand to touch her , but Naira caught his hand and twisted badly. He groaned in pain , then kicked him and he fell on the floor. Then she went towards the man lying on the floor and gave him a few punches on the face until blood started bleeding out from his nose and lips.
Then the other man grabbed her and pushed her away , and then helped the man lying on the floor and went away.
" Great Naira , be thankfully that there no cameras in this area, Never show off your skills and what you did" Naira mummered and went in the lift
In a Office
" What happened to your face" Kartik asked a man while sitting in his chair
" He got beat up by a girl" the other man said while laughing
" Shut up !! You know , I was just trying to scare her , I never wanted to do anything" James said
" Yeah! But you got beat up..haha" Issac said
This time Kartik also laughed
" Who was she" Kartik asked
Then another person entered.
" Oh look who's laughing , is my day gonna be bad?" That man said
" You're back from the trip William! "Issac said while hugging him
" So what did I miss? " William said
They explained what happened to James
" Nice dude , keep it up!" William said patting on James's shoulder
Next Day
Naira was walking on the street , enjoying the view, she knew she was on a mission but she just can't go n say hi! She has to wait for the right time.
Suddenly she noticed a little girl in the middle of the road and a car coming to her direction and moreover the driver was not slowing down.
She ran towards and took her in a hug and rolled on the other side of the road. The car didn't even stopped and sped away
She sat and made the little girl stand and wiped off her tears
" Hey you ok? Where is your mom?" Naira asked
Suddenly two muscular arms grabbed the girl and took her in a hug saying soothing words. Naira stood up and saw two ladies running in their direction.
One lady took the girl. Naira remembered the other lady , she looked familiar and when she looked at the person standing beside her , he was Kartik Martz.
" Thank you so much " The lady with the girl said and went away
" Thank you dear , if it had not been you , I don't know what would've happened" The lady said and walked away
" That was my Mom " Kartik said
" I didn't asked" Naira said
" You got attitude Ms.Cooper" Kartik said while walking infront of her
" You remember me?" Naira asked innocently
" Well yeah , oh what happened to your arm?" Kartik said while helding her hand and looking closer .
There was a glass piece pierced in Naira's skin and blood was oozing out
Naira immediately dragged her hand back and pulled the piece out of her skin and closed her eyes tightly when she felt the pain
" It will be fine , you can go" Naira said
" Aisha listen to me , you're not going anywhere , you're coming with me to my house , right now" Kartik said while wrapping a handkerchief around her wound
Naira was about to say something but a lady with Kartik interrupted
"Yes sweety , you're coming with us and you can't deny me, I'm Kartik's aunt" The lady said
" Yes..ok" Naira said like obedient child
" Oh! Call me Serena" Serena said
And they went towards the cars. Naira looked here and there to see the guards , there were some near the cars and many were scattered in the area as she noticed few of them.
She took a note of it . Let the mission begin , Naira thought.
