Naira's POV

I was going from here to there, then from there to there, the cycle just goes on. I was awake early morning to get the wedding dress from the store, though Chloe offered me to get it but I politely rejected her offer.

I was in my room , drinking some coffee, before I start to get ready, suddenly a loud knock startled me, I kept the mug down and opened the door harshly to be met by a disturbed Rohan.

" We need your help" Rohan said and before I could even say anything, he dragged me to the end of the hallway.

Rishi was standing there with Kartik, Issac, James and William .

" What happened?" I said when I saw the sad face of my brother

" Laurel, she's crying, she will not marry me" Rishi said in a broken voice.

I looked at Rohan, he just shrugged, I sighed and went downstairs, where she was getting ready.

" Hey Laurel" I said, but all I heard was a cry

" Hey ,hey what happened?" I asked her by grabbing her by her shoulders

She weeped more and more, her makeup was getting ruined

" Laurel if you won't tell me, how will I be able to solve your problems?" I tried to explain, it's like explaining to a 5 year old kid

" I'm fat, the dress is not fitting" she cried more

Then it hit me, when we got the dress stitched, Laurel was not pregnant but after that she got pregnant, so her body shape changed a little bit.

And her pregnancy is getting better of her behaviour. It's her pregnancy that's making her emotional. I just hugged her.

" Stop crying, we'll do something" I said and she nodded

I called Chloe immediately and asked her to call her some of the workers so that they could loosen the dress a little bit. And in the meantime Laurel's makeup would be retouched.

" See Chloe's here, your dress will be fixed in no time" I said in an assuring tone and left the room

When I went upstairs, I saw Rishi was still whining while the boys were trying to explain him or calm him down.

I stormed towards him and slapped him across the face. Everyone was silent

" There's a pregnant woman crying over her dress, understandable but here a grown up man is whining like a child for no reason" I said in an irritated tone

" I needed that" Rishi said

" So everything's fixed?" Rohan asked

" Yup" I said

Then we all left to get ready.

Everything was great from the decoration to the food, hehe.

My brother Rishi and Laurel were finally married, everyone was busy in their own thing. I just looked around and saw Kartik laughing with James, he immediately turned his gaze towards me and I blushed.

I went to Chloe and Anna, and then we went to the stage, the lights were turned off suddenly. Then the lights were focused on us only , with Chloe and Anna having an instrument to play and me having a mic in my hand

The moon is high

I looked at Kartik while singing, he was surprised

In the winter, in the icy outdoor pool

I slowly went towards him while singing and stood infront of him

No sooner the song finished, Kartik kissed me, while everyone cheered around us.

Kartik took out a velvet box and made me wear a beautiful ring

"I love you" Kartik said

" I love you too and I'll marry you" I replied

After that everyone congratulated us.
