I was not going to update this story this early , so enjoy yourselves, not everyone has the chance to do it.
Naira's POV
I blocked the sunlight by covering my face with the duvet, I turned away from the window until I hit a very hard thing
" Who builds a wall in the middle of the..." I said but stopped when I realised that it's not a wall it was someone's chest.
I peeked out from the duvet and saw Kartik sleeping peacefully beside me, until James hardly knocked on the door and shouted.
Kartik stirred in his sleep and stretched a little, that his one arm come above my mouth, I smiled mischievously and bit his arm
"Ahhhh" he shouted and he looked at me with widened eyes
" What the hell Naira?" He asked while examining the bite marks while I was laughing hardly, he just shook his head and went to open the door.
" It's about time " James said
" What are you doing here?" Kartik asked in his sleepy voice, James still had not seen me.
" What am I doing here, it's 10am" he shouted a little bit
" What 10 am" Kartik was surprised and even me, I never slept so soundly in a long time, I always had some anxiety attack or something.
James pushed Kartik away from the door and walked towards the couch until he saw me.
" What are you doing here?" James asked
" Umm.. sleeping?" I said
" Oh now I understand" James smiled evilly and looked at us
" Get your mind out of the gutter J" Kartik said while hitting him lightly on his head.
" Whatever,I assume you told him everything" James asked me,I nodded at his question.
" So you guys are back together" James said excitedly
" I'm going to my room" I said avoiding the question, how will I answer a question if I don't know the answer yet. Were we back together?
...........
I went to Laurel's room, and surprisingly saw Anna and Chloe already there standing outside the bathroom door
" What happened?" I asked
" She's pregnant" Chloe said excitedly, Anna glared at her
" No we don't know exactly, she's just throwing up a lot since early morning" Anna explained
" I have to go the hospital for my cast, how about we take her also" I explained
" Then we can go bridesmaid dresses shopping" Laurel said excitedly from the washroom before throwing up again and we all just chuckled.

We all were waiting outside the doctor's room, my right hand is officially free, I can move it, twist it, do anything from it.
Laurel came out of the room with a poker face and suddenly she smiled and we all hugged her
" I'm so happy for you" I said
" Ya, c'mon let's go finish with the shopping, so I can tell this great news to Rishi in person" Laurel said
" To my store then" Chloe said.

We all returned home after 2 hours, I was literally dreading it, because it would mean I have to meet Kartik and talk to him..uurrgghh.
" Hey everyone" Anna said no sooner did we enter the house and saw all of them sitting on the high stools having drinks and joking around except dad and mom ofcourse.
" And you're all having a party here, while I'm stressing out " Laurel faked anger
" It's not like that, you people are going to be wedded in less than a week, so we're just having fun with our bachelor Rishi " Issac explained
And all other boys nodded
" Ok fine we have some news" Chloe said while clapping her hands
" Is it good or bad?" Rohan asked
" How about surprising?" I said looking towards Rishi
" Umm...ok..so..." Laurel stuttered
" Tell us already" Rishi said
" I'm pregnant" Laurel blurted out while looking at the floor, everyone was silent
" I'm going to be dad" Rishi broke the silence and went to Laurel
Everyone congratulated them even mom and dad came down too, everyone was exhausted due to the wedding preparations, so we called it a day.

I was about to switch off the light when I heard a soft knock at my door, when I opened it, I saw a very nervous Kartik standing there.
" Hey, come in" I said awkwardly and we both were now standing facing eachother awkwardly.
" I wanted to talk to you, but you were busy the whole day" he said
" Ya, we had a tiring day" I replied
" I saw your cast came out" he said
" Umm ya, my arm feels good now" I said and sat on the bed and he came and sat beside me.
" Everything is clear now, and I'm really sorry for whatever the mistakes I have done" he said
" It's not your mistakes only that counts Kartik, I also made mistakes, but I think it's the mistakes that teach us everything" I said leaning my head on his shoulder as I was feeling sleepy
" I love you Naira, I always have but many things happened, I was going to tell you that day, but you got kidnapped and all" he confessed
I was surprised at his confession, I mean yes, I do have feelings for him but I never thought we will be back together after all this mess, but here we are, fate surely has its way to get things done.
" I love you too Kartik, but I still want to take things slow" I said
He nodded, " I understand, that's why I'm going to take you out tomorrow" he said and started to get up, but I stopped him.
" Sleep here only, I usually sleep more peacefully with you" I said
He nodded and lied beside me and I leaned on his shoulder again
" Me too" Kartik said looking at me with a genuine smile on his face, I smiled too.
I'm finally living my life again.
