Chapter 34

I don't want to say it, but the votes are really less, is my story that boring?

Naira's POV

" Naah this one's looking to fluffy" I said

Laurel is wearing a wedding gown, but it was too fluffy for her perfect curvy body.

" Ya I also thought that, I'm just really tired and I still can't find the perfect one" Laurel said looking in the mirror

That's true, we're here for 2 hours and we didn't even liked one dress even.

" How about we visit some other store" I suggested

" But Rishi said that this is one of the best and even your mom suggested it" Laurel said

" Sometimes some things lose their glamour" I whispered

We both giggled at that and then after changing went to our car.

" There's a new international brand opened nearby, shall we try it?" I asked

" Ya why not" Laurel said and the driver drove us to that store

The store was big with white marbles on the wall, it spoke rich.
We went inside and were met with a couple of workers greeting us, it's interiors were another story, it was divided into many sections, like every lady was getting a personal section and then there was a common section, where the dresses were hung.

" Ma'am this way please" a worker said and we followed her

We were brought into our private section and the worker started showing us some dresses that were hung there.

" I want a dress that's unique, we were at the xlix store, but we couldn't find anything" Laurel said

Surprise was visible on the worker's face that we didn't choose anything from there.

" You're lucky, that our owner is visiting this city right now, she might help you" the lady said and went away

After a few minutes, " ma'am here they are" the lady said to the person following her whose face I still cannot see, I looked at the floor, when I hear the too familiar voice.

" Hi! I'm Chloe, the owner of this brand, and you must be the bride" she said shaking hands with Laurel.

I froze in my position, I didn't even had the courage to look at her.

I pulled down my hoodie to hide my face at the best.

" Naira what do you think" Laurel said wearing a dress

It was time, I slowly removed my hoodie and looked at Laurel,she was looking perfect.

" It's perfect" I said trying to avoid Chloe.

" I know, it's designed by the owner herself" Laurel said excitedly and went to change.

" So Naira Jones, huh?" Chloe's bitter voice came

I looked at her, she was exactly the same way I left her with the addition of the sour face.

" I didn't knew you had a store" I said awkwardly

"What happened?" She asked , I was confused

" What do you mean by what happened?" I asked

" I know you Aisha...sorry Naira, I know that, you wouldn't leave Kartik and us like that" Chloe said

" Why do you think that? Nobody believes me" I said

" I know, maybe a gut feeling, there's a story behind it, and you my friend is gonna tell me everything when we return to the mansion" she said

I started crying, she still believes me, she still thinks that I didn't left on my own. Chloe came and hugged me until I calm down

" I'm so sorry, I didn't want to leave you all like that, it's just something happened" I said

" And that's why you're gonna tell us what happened" came another manly voice.

I came out of the hug and saw Issac, Anna and William standing there.

" C'mon won't you hug us atleast" Anna said and Issac also smiled at that, except William ofcourse

I went and hugged Anna and Issac and William and I just did a nod.

" It's great to see you all" I said smiling widely

" It's great to see you too" Issac said

" Kartik said that you all were gonna come but I didn't knew that you will all come so early" I said

" Ok then we are gonna after a few days" Anna said

" I didn't mean that" I said

" Don't worry about it" Chloe said

" Aren't you all angry or disappointed with me" I asked

" We were but then James called us and told us everything except something and he said that it's your story to tell" Issac said

I nodded

" What's going on here" Laurel said trying to squeeze between all the people standing

" Oh Laurel these are my friends, the one I told you about" I said

She nodded and then they all greeted her and everything

" So why didn't you came to the mansion?" Laurel asked

" Actually Chloe had some work in this branch, so we decided to come here first and then to the mansion" Anna said

Then we all went to the mansion

We walked into the mansion, greeted by my father and mother

" It's good to see you all" dad said

" It's good to see you too Mr and Mrs Jones" William said loosening up a little bit

" So dad , are all the guests staying here" I asked

" No only these people, rest will stay in our hotel" he replied

" Omg guys, what a surprise" came James voice and he rushed downstairs and hugged Issac , then William , Chloe and Anna

Kartik also followed him downstairs but with a steady pace and an unique style that can make any girl fall for him, I can't even imagine him with any other girl, uurrgghh

" I missed you all so much" James said while wiping off his fake tears

" Ya we too missed you J" Chloe said

" It's good that you all are here, I don't have to bear with him anymore" James said looking at Kartik playfully, Kartik just gave a deathly glare

" Kartik easy on my, don't forget he's my best friend" I said with the flow.

Everyone looked at me surprised, even I was surprised at myself, how did I speak to him so friendly

" You guys catch up, I'll be in my room" I said and went away
