No matter how hard Harriet tried to forget about that day, she just couldn't. She remembered it all too well. It was a beautiful autumn day, the wind was blowing and the leaves were falling down in vibrant reds and oranges and even browns. That haunting yet unforgettable November 3rd. Harriet remembered how she went to the park near her school, like she did every Wednesday. How she sat down on that bench, listening to her music and either reading a book or doing her homework. Then she'd go home. That was her routine. Except on that November 3rd. Things went a bit differently on that day. When she sat down on her usual bench, this boy sat down next to her. When she looked over, Harriet instantly felt a connection with him. Though she didn't know him, she felt what she had dreamed about for so many years. Love at first sight.

They talked and talked until it was time for her to go home. When she left, all she could think about was the wonderful feeling inside of her. She felt like she was walking on air.
