Spade was waiting for me in the packhouse, I never really met the pack much but I guess today is the day. The packed house was flooding with people, chatter and noise filled the room. I instantly spotted Spade, I didn't have to look hard. He was talking to two older boys.
"Sorry for disturbing," I say as I joined them. A deep smile forms on his face and he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him.
"What..." when I finally got a good look at the two males in front of me, I realized my fists were clenching. The guard that beat me up was standing in front of me. "Riker, Dyson, I'll like you to meet my mate, Kizara Ray, Alpha of the moonlight pack's daughter," Spade proudly stated.
Both men gulped hard as they looked at me. "That is the rogue..." one of them trailed off. "King Kyston," the two males tilt their heads in respect as Kyston joins me at my side.
I turn around for a quick second to see a familiar face. I couldn't help myself but smile.
"I'll be right back..." I tell spade and walked through the crowd of people to get to him. "Dani?" I say and watched as he turned around. He immediately grabbed me in his hands to hug me tightly. "It's you, it's really you, I thought you left me," he said emotionally.
"So did I," I sadly revealed.
Someone cleared their throat behind us which caused us to release each other. When I saw who it was, I immediately took a huge step back.
"Beta Spade, is there anything I can help you with?" Daniel asked. "You two know each other?" Spade asked and I was about to speak before Daniel but he beat me to it.
"This is the girl that broke my heart," he smiled at me. "Daniel right?" Spade asked.
"How do you know my name Beta?"
"Well...I must know my mate's ex, shouldn't I?" Spade snapped and almost growled at Daniel. Thankfully, I held his hand with mine and he relaxes under my touch.
"Mate? Shit," he cursed, looking down to our hands. "What's that..." Daniel spun around and a familiar red hair was standing in front of him. I watched as both let out a daring word from their lips.
"Mate."
