"What?" Spade and I blurted at the same time.

They are mates.

This is actually unbelievable.

"Are you sleeping with your maid now Ace?" Emily assumed and stepped to the side and looked at me from head to toe with a nasty expression.

This bitch.

"I'm his mate, bitch," I snapped at her proudly, and her lips part a bit in shock. "And that is my ex-boyfriend so don't feel so special," I added and she looks at her mate in disbelief.

"That's not true," she says and made daggers at Spade. Soon I felt his hand go around my waist and I'm pulled into his side.

"Fucking asshole!" She screams and walked away, Daniel following behind her.

"That wasn't expected," I smiled at my mate.

"Neither was I, let's go home," he says and turns us towards the exit.

I loved the sound of that.

I don't know why I had hope, that my parents were alive and okay. I left them to die, I should expect this.

As tears left my eyes I also smiled big because I got back my brother and Daniel. A couple of my friends made it and all the children did. The pack is rebuilding again.

I should be happy.

"Yes, you should," snow reminded me.

I wiped my eyes and made sure it didn't look like I was crying and finally came out of the washroom.

At the same time, Spade walked into the bedroom and now we both were in the same room. His eyes locked on mine after he scanned my body and his perfect eyes sunk.

He walked forward and hugged me. I don't know why he hugged me but I hugged him back. "You've been crying," he says sadly.

"Happy tears, I'm okay," I told him. He pulled away to look at me and I smiled at him. "Can I kiss you now? It's been a while since I haven't," he mumbled, his eyes fell to my lips.

Instead of replying, I tiptoed enough to wrap my arms around his neck and connected our lips once more. Every time we kiss, I wonder if I'll ever stop. His lips are perfect and I should know the things he could do with them. His hands slowly go down my body, curving each curve until they were on my butt, he gave it a light squeeze and lifted me up which allowed me to wrap my legs around his waist. My tongue slid into his mouth and I moaned at the feeling.

Now I see what he meant.

"I'm starting back training tomorrow, please stay here. I'll feel better knowing you're here, safe," Spade kissed down my neck.
"I wanted to spend time with my brother," I frowned. "I just want you safe, I just want to always protect you," His eyes bore into mine and they held so many emotions.

"I'm all yours," I assure him before our lips connected again.
