(Wednesday Night NXT)
The Brotherhood and the Bliss Republic came to the black and gold brand as they continued their war. The Republic leader Alexa has announced an eight woman tag match involving herself, Carmella, Liv and their new member against Io, Tegan, Rhea and the Brotherhood's new member.
Along with that, the Goddess announced a six man tag match for next Monday as the Republic's Monster Braun Strowman teams with the AOP to take on Drew McIntyre, Rusev and Ricochet.
The Republic were in the locker room thinking over not just the eight woman tag match, but also who did Alex recruit to join his cause.
Josh: I can think of some names though
Peyton: who do you have, babe?
Josh: the Undisputed Era, Mia Yim and I also thought of some names over at NXT UK
Travis: I doubt Alex recruited Jordan Devlin
Alexa: I know my husband's mind games, but let's focus on tonight
Randy: we'll worry about who joined what later
Chase: who did you recruit, Alexa?
Alexa: someone... and she will catch those three off guard
Elleon: devious planning, Alexa
Carmella: I can't wait
Liv: me too!
Then the group saw that Alex has a segment to start off the show.
Finn: wonder what he has to say
Alexa: Josh, Travis, Chase; you three get ready to ambush him
The three men nodded.
(In the ring)
Alex made his entrance without the Brotherhood as he wanted to do this alone. He got in the ring and asked for a mic. The U.S. Champion basked in the cheering crowd.
Alex: now, some of you may wonder why did I come out alone without the Brotherhood. Well to answer that, I want to address this to my lovely wife Alexa Bliss
He turned to the camera.
Alex: Alexa, I know you're watching; whoever you have for our mixed tag match next week; I don't care who it is, I don't care if it's Randy or Finn; the Brotherhood will take you down
The crowd cheered.
Alex: on a side note Alexa, Io has told me that she wants to challenge Kairi to a match on NXT UK
The crowd cheered louder.
Alex: now I'm out here to introduce you all two of the three new members of the Brotherhood; now these two don't see-
He was interrupted by the Republic's theme and saw Josh, Chase and Travis coming out. The Pharaoh took out his leather jacket as he prepared for a fight. The three Republic lieutenants got on the apron.
Alex: now guys, I know Alexa ordered you to come and attack me, but I felt it coming and since you three had the guts to come and interrupt the reveal of the Brotherhood's two new members, I'm giving you the front row seat
He pointed at the stage.
The Brotherhood's two new members were the former co-founders of the First Army, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa aka DIY. The crowd popped and a brawl was underway.
