~Chapter 6~

Hi, I'd just like to say that you should listen to Harry Styles 'Falling' while reading this because it is sad and this chapter is sad. <3 IF YOU FINISH FALLING BEFORE THE END OF THE CHAPTER PLAY THE SONG 'FINE LINE'!
I wake up and look around. Kio's white 'Shadow' hoodie was sitting on the floor next to my bathroom door.
"Hey Y/N! Do you and Ki- Where's Kio and why do you look like you've been crying?" Alex asks, walking in. I feel a tear roll down my cheek.
"After Addison posted, he stormed out after her and I found them kissing!" I bring my knees up to my chest.
"Y/N! I-" Kio runs in out of breath.
"Kio, please go!" I say quietly.  He looks at me.
"Just let me explain myself to you. Addison pulled me on her. I kept telling her to get off and she ran me into a dresser. I never wanted to hurt you! I love you. So much!" He says. I look away from him.
"Kio, I don't want to do this right now. You can take your hoodie if you want. Just please go!" I say, wiping tears from my face.
"You're everything to me! Please just tell me you love me too!" Kio says. I see him start to cry.
"I do, it's just, that's why I'm so hurt. She is a female. You could have pushed her off!" I say. Kio shakes his.
"She has stuff against me!" Kio says.
"Stuff that I don't know? Kio I a- was your girlfriend. How would she know more about you than your own girlfriend?" I ask.
"It's just past stuff that I don't like bringing up!" He says quietly.
"Kio, you said you told me everything!" I say as tears fall quicker.
"Y/N! I did. The only reason Addison knew is becuase she knows my mom and asked her!" Kio says. I look away again.
"I can't do this. Go Kio!" I say and walk to my bathroom. I shut the door and hear Alex talking to him.
"Kio, I get that Addison was close to you at first but you should have told Y/N what Addison knows so she doesn't feel like just a fan or just a chick you got with!" Alex says.
"You are wise beyond your years. I just don't know if it a good thing to bring this up so early!" Kio says. I turn on the water in the bathtub so it sounds like I can't hear them.  Iwalk back to the door and put my ear against it.
"What is it?" Alex asks.
"Before I started TikTok, I was a player. I was with every girl I saw and most of the time I would sleep with them. There was one girl, her name was Emily, I had finally gotten with her after multiple attempts. She was the good Christian girl at our school so it was pretty hard. I guess when we, ya' know, the condom ripped and she got pregnant. She got kicked out of her home and completely stopped talking to me. She even dropped out, because of me. I don't know if she had the kid but Addison knows that story and she threatens me with it. I don't want Y/N to think I'm using her like I did those other girls. I feel so different around her. Her kisses, her smile, her laugh, even her bed head, it makes me more in love with her and I don't want to lose her. She's my everything!" Kio says. I stop listening and realize I am crying. I quickly take a shower and put on a cute outfit.

I straighten my hair and put on light, natural makeup. I look over and see Kio's hoodie. I put it on an take a picture in my mirror.

I've never missed you more than I do right now.

I walk out of my room and see Alex with Nova, Luke, and Kio.
"K-Kio?" I ask.
"I'm ready to tell you what Addison knows!" Kio says.
"I heard it Kio. I just don't think that we should be together right now. I need to spend time with Alex and help her with Nova. I'm sorry!" I say.
"Don't be sorry!" Kio hugs me. I hug him back and smile.
"I love you still!" I say.
"I love you too. You can keep that hoodie. It looks better on you!" He smiles before leaving. I look at Alex.
"I can't believe you have a kid!" I smile.
"I know dude she is so freaking cute!" Alex says before we hear a crash. I run out and see Kio. He was sprawled across the ground and a car had ran into a tree. I run to Kio and pull my phone out.
"Kio, it's ok, stay with me!" I say frantically.
"I love you!" Kio reaches his blood covered hand to my face
"Y-Yeah, hi, I'm at ************ my- boyfriend was just hit by a car, the car hit a tree. Kio, my boyfriend, may be in critical condition and I don't know the condition of the driver!" I saw when they pick up.
"Ok, we have people coming, can you please check on the other person?" The operater asks.
"Yes, one second. L-LUKE COME HOLD KIO FOR ME!" I yell. Luke takes Kio and watches.
"Y/N!" Kio says weakly. I hold my pointer finger to him and run to the car. I knock on the window and the driver rolls down their window.
"A-A-Adison!" I squeak.
"Hi Y/N! How is your b**** of a boyfriend?" She slurs.
"The driver is fine, she is extremely drunk though!" I say.
"Ok, our cops are a minute away and ambulances are about 5!" The operator says. I nod and switch places with Luke.
"Y/N say you love me back!" Kio says.
"I love you Kio, now please let me talk to 911!" I say.
"So he is talking?" The operator asks.
"Yes, he is extremely weak, covered in blood, and possible broken leg!" I say. Cops pull in and walk over.
"Did the cops arrive?" The operator asks.
"Yes ma'am!" I say.
"Ok, talk to them please!" She says and I hang up.
"Hi, I'm officer Daniels. What happened here?" A cop asks.
"Um, well, Kio, the one in my hands had walked out and I guess was crossing the street quickly to get to his car when Addison, the driver over there, sped up and hit him. She is very drunk and only 19!" I say. Officer Daniels nods and ambulances pull in.
"Name?" The paramedic asks.
"Kio Cyr!" I say.
"Spell it!" The paramedic loads Kio on a stretcher.
"K-I-O C-Y-R!" I say. Kio groans and reaches for me.
"Ok, age?" One asks.
"He is-" Kio cuts me off.
"19!" He says.
"Kio, let me answer. You are gonna get checked on!" I say.
"Ok, your relation to him?" Someone asks.
"G-G- Ex-girlfriend, still his girlfriend, it's complicated!" I say.
"Ok, meet us at the hospital!" A paramedic says and shuts the back door.
"We are gonna take Miss Easterling into custody, once she gets sobered up, she will tell us her side of the story, and we will also be getting a statement from Mr. Cyr!" Officer Daniels says.
"Ok, thank you!" I say and head to the hospital. If I loose Kio now, I don't know what I will do. I need him more than I need a lot of things. It took me over an hour to get the hospital. When I finally pull in, I run to the front desk.
"Hello!" The lady says. Tears start rlling down my cheeks.
"Hi, can I know the room of Kio Cyr. K-I-O C-Y-R!" I say.
"I'm sorry, that is disclosed information. Who are you to him?" She asks.
"I'm his girlfriend. Please. Ask him! I'm Y/N L/N! He got hit by a car while crossing my street to get to his car. I need to see him. Please!" I say.
"Unfortunately, Mr. Cyr is sleeping and has asked not to be disturbed until he calls. You will just have to wait!" The lady says. I walk to the waiting room and sit. I scroll through instagram and see edits of me and Kio. I quickly post on my story.
Pray for Kio. Something happened and I'm not allowed to see him until he wakes up.
After 30 minutes I see Alex walk in. She spots me and runs to me. I standup and wrap my arms around her. I start sobbing.
"Alex, he is my everything! They won't let me see him. I love him so freaking much and I need to be with him, holding his hand! I should have let him stay!" I say. She just holds me when Luke walks over to us with Nova.
"Hey, this waiting room is closing for tonight. You will have to come back later!" The secretary lady says. I look at her.
"But he hasn't woken up!" I say.
"He has, but he hasn't called for anything so we cannot bother him! Goodbye!" The lady says. I hadn't even realize. It's 10 P.M. now. Luke had left to take Nova home. I look at Alex.
"Let's go!" She says. We go out to my car and get in. Alex was driving so I had my knees against my chest. I was listening to my playlist of sad songs. When we get home and I get into my bed, 'Falling' by Harry Styles comes on.
"I'm in my bed, and you're not here!" Harry sings. Oh that just hit. Kio isn't with me. I break down into sobs.

Me- Kio, I know you won't see this but I came to the hospital and they wouldn't let me see you! I love you so much Kio. I need you with me. Today made me realize how much I need you. I have had about 10 breakdowns today. I gave the paramedics your phone since you left it in my house. I think you might have been crossing back for it when Addison drove into you. I just want you to know that I'm always gonna be here for you and I need you.
Kio- I saw it. Y/N I had no idea you were here. The cops came in and I gave my statement. I was coming back for my phone and didn't see her car when I looked. She sped up and hit me I literally flew babe! Like Superman. Put on some comfy clothes and sleep You need it and you can come back up to the hospital tomorrow. OK?
Me- Ok. I love you
Kio- I love you more.

LITTLE APOLOGY FOR NOT UPDATING IN A WHILE AND ALSO A THANKS FOR 1.11k READS. WHAT?! I literally just made this story in like February, yeah february. It's only been 2 months. HOW!?! I love you guys so much thank you <3
