" Good morning " I greeted him more like I whispered. Two men were facing their back at me, one sitting on the sofa arm and the other leaning against the table.
He looked at me. Those piercing eyes held so much authority. My legs were wobbling as I walked further to his table.
Oh please God, if you are here don't let me fall.
I took a sit in front of him. I greeted him again,
" Good morning Mr....." Oh my fucking God I don't know his name. I should have done some research on it first. I'm so dumb. My nervousness was vivid. My hands sweaty, my heart beating fast.
As I was in trepidation and taking my time, the other guys seem to notice it and turn their heads to me as in shock. I quickly avert my eyes elsewhere and notice the badge name on his table.
"...Mr. Stanislav ". The way his name roll on my tongue.
The other guy sat up from the chair quickly and came to me.
" you didn't know him, did you ?" he asked, vividly shocked.
" No, I'm so sorry, I should have done my research" I shook my head in denial.
" What ?! How could you not know him?! He is very much to my dismay... " he rolls his blue eyes dramatically in annoyance before continuing " an extremely influential one in the entire world"
" Apparently not " I squeaked and I look at Mr. Stanislav in the corner of eyes. He looked shocked and amused but quickly masked it.
Then again we proceeded to the interview.
" I'm Adelyn, Adelyn March" and I hand him my files. He took it in his long thick slender fingers. Wow, even his fingers are a beauty to the naked eyes.
" Hmm, I see," he said in his deep husky voice while turning the pages of the files. After some seconds he carried on,
" ok, now that I've seen everything I needed to know ...." he trails on
" undress."
His last word shook me to the core. Did I hear him right? Did he just tell me to remove my clothes?
He made my blood run cold as I stare at him with a shock expression.
"I -I beg your pardon? " I stammered.
"I don't like to repeat myself, Miss March" he demanded with his husky and gruffly voice which sends a cold shiver running down my spine. I was left appalled.
I stood up from the chair and lean towards him. Ok, first of all, one should know to never mess with me. I chuckled.
" If you think I will stand so low and put myself in front of you, glory naked, then Mr. Stanislav you can go to hell. I'm not one of those girls who would jump at any opportunity to excites you or to sleep with you
GET THAT IN YOUR FUCKING DEAD BRAIN CELLS " I stated furiously and snatch my files from his hands and made a beeline to the door.
God am soo angry, I should have known that handsome face was an ass, and as they say, never judge a book by its cover.
" Miss March" he exclaimed.
" what " I roared back.
" You got the job" he stated emotionless.
" Excuse me,"
" You heard me right, you'll be working under my personal assistance and assist me in every meeting as part of your training so that you understand fully the features and systems of how things go on here." He stated in the same tone.
" So all of this was a test ?" I asked, surprised.
He nodded.
what a weird way to test someone.
" Well let me show you around fast-track," said the blue eyes guy.
I whispered an okay and someone caught my eye. I remember him. He is the guy who helped me the other day.
"oh, hey Alarick "I waved and he waved back smiling.
" Wait you guys know each other ?" blue-eyes guy asked again.
" ya, well we sort of bumped into each other"
" I'll see you around more Addie," Alarick said smilingly and I left the room with the other guy.
We were in the elevator and he exclaimed
" how rude of me, allow me to introduce, myself Colton Chaistain." and he bows one hand on the chest, the other in the air.
" well you already know me" we both chuckled
" Thank you so much for what you are doing, I could really used a 101"
"Pleasure is mine " the elevator made a ding
" well here we begin "
