I just moved to NYC and I'm already loving it. Its so beautiful, but the weather here makes everything different. I mean, I'm not always happy but it would've been great if there was sun here. Joe. I know all about you. Guinevere Beck was nothing but a bitch. She didn't see the features you have. But I do. I see past your dark side, Joe. I see everything. Maybe I've had quite a bit of an obsession with you? But I needed my first impression to be good. I needed you to be impressed with me. It wasn't quite hard, honestly. I just needed a bait.

Ever since you dated Abraham's little sister, I've been all up on you. I know you haven't seen me before, which is okay because first impressions always count. Charlotte didn't deserve you. You are so much better. Abraham never liked you, he always thought you were a creep. He never wanted me around you. I wanted to be around you. He didn't.
You see where this is heading? I want you. Do you want me? You deserve me, Joe. We deserve an us.

I walked into Mooney's, aware that you're at the cashier. The first bookshelf I saw, I went to. I know you like girls who are curious. Who asks for help. But I am different. I take my time. I want you to be tempted to ask me for help. Yet you didn't. What the fuck were you waiting for, Joe? You want me to ask for help? Well, I wanna be a tough shell to crack. I will be that tough shell.

I pick a book that I've read multiple times. It isn't as scary when you keep re-reading it. I tapped your shoulder softly, knowing it'll catch your attention. I know you've been watching me, Joe. I don't mind. Im glad that I've caught your attention after so long. Long years of pain. Knowing you'll never love me back. It is my time to shine now, Joe. I will make you love me. You will love me. There will be an us.

"I just wanna say, your store is incredible. It has so many good books I couldn't choose." I said softly. I know that'll shock you. I'll say the right words for you, Joe. You look down at the book, that I was grasping onto so tightly. You make me sweat when I'm around you, Joe. I can admit that I am sexually attracted to you. "Misery?" you asked softly. "Yeah!" I replied. "I heard it's a scary book." I smiled softly and giggled at the end. We're already hitting it off good, Joe. Aren't you happy? I am. Please be happy.
"Yeah. I actually recommend it. Best experience if you read it at night." You replied, then gave me a thumbs up. I couldn't help but think what your thumbs would look, inside of me. I felt butterflies throughout my whole body. "I'll take your advise." I replied with a smile.

You take me to the register and I hand you the book. "39.95" You said before meeting my eyes. I pretend to scramble inside my bag, holding my ID in-front of you so you could read my name. "Sorry, I just moved here and I think I misplaced my cash. Can I pay with card?" I ask politely. I'm not stupid, Joe. I know you take card. I just wanna seem dorky, because you like girls who seem comfortable with you, right? "Oh I'm sorry. We take card as well. I didn't know if you saw it or not." You replied with a chuckle. This is my time. My time to blush. To show you I have feelings. To show you that I am vulnerable. I flush red in-front of you, and I couldn't help but see the way you looked at me. As if you were in awe. "Oh I'm sorry" I replied, giggling to myself. You like the way I giggle, Joe? Do you want to hear it everyday when you tell the most corniest jokes? I am you number one fan, Joe. Forever and always. "No its fine." You said to assure me.

I hand you my card and you take a glance at the name. "Callie Bisley?" You asked with curiosity. "Yeah, it sounds like Cali." I said, giggling again. You like the way you feel appreciated around me, don't you joe? "You have a really good name." He replied. Do you really mean that, Joe? Or are you fucking with me? If you are I wont hesitate, I'll slice your throat open. If I can't love you, no one can. "Thank you." I said before smiling. "And you are.." I look down at his name tag. I know you see me. "Joe" I said then looked up at him, meeting his eyes. He nodded then said "Joe Goldberg" He placed my book into a brown bag, and handed it to me. "Thank you." I smiled softly than walked out. I know you'll wait for my visit again, Joe. I want you to wait. You have to want me first.
