Germany's POV:

I thought my cries would have been answered if I could have seen (Y/N) instead of this grim dark place, but the way she broke down in front of me shattered my heart. 'Why?' I thought bitterly to myself as I slammed my fist into the concrete at my feet in anger and frustration. 'She didn't have to sell herself and make a deal with that devil all just for my sake!' My thoughts began to delve deeper as they became louder almost to the point where they were screaming at me eating away at me at how badly I failed her.

That's right, I did fail her. I failed (Y/N). I took her into this war thinking I could protect her if she was closer, but it only hurt her more! I hurt her. This is all because of me! I'm not strong enough to protect her.

These thoughts kept eating away at my very soul as I curled into a ball to try and protect the last of me I had left. 'Why couldn't you protect her? Why are you so weak?' They'd tell me. 'Your not enough for her and this is your punishment. You deserve this."

I was so lost in these thoughts that I didn't notice the person that entered my cell until their voice boomed through it.

"Today's a big day German mutt!" The voice shouted. I picked my head up from the floor to see who it was. Was I really surprised to see the devil himself standing in the doorway with his usual over excessive smile? Not really. Although, there was one thing that caught my interest. What could America possibly be planning? My face hardened at this unknown question.

"Don't be such a downer dude. Today you and your buddies are going home." America augured. "What about (Y/n)?" I slithered out as sat up from my laying position and stared bitterly into his ocean blue eyes. They should have been red, black even, that's really show who he really is.

"What are you saying dude," America chuckled half heartedly. "(Y/N)'s already home." Even though I knew that he was going to say that, it still stung to hear that coming for him and my teeth grit together at this realization.

America must have noticed my frustrated state as he began to laugh hysterically while holding a deadly glare back into my sharpened, heated face. I would be lying if I said if his unusual laughter didn't put me on edge, but there was no way I'd ever show it. Especially not to him.

"As much as I'd like to keep you here and have so much fun breaking you little by little as I show you how much better (Y/N) is now that she's with me. Unfortunately through, my boss agreed to let you go back to your country, along with all the other prisoners of war I have here." America fake pouted ."The this is though," He paused as he let out a spine tingling chuckle. He gaze never faltering from my form chained to the floor "I can't let you, or any of your buddies, know where we are. Therefore your going to be out of it for a little while."

I began to panic as America called out for a few guards down the hall. Just like before, no matter how much I struggled, the restraints kept me bound in my place. I was vulnerable to America's men rushing in my cell, two to hold me down so that another could push a needle into my neck. There was a prick in my neck as I was left blankly to America's demise.

********

It felt like a normal night in a bar; lights were dim, people were chatting lightly among each other, the others were neatly dressed in clean civilian wear while I stook out like sore thumb with my tattered, dirty uniform. It was calming. Very different to what I've been subjected to for a while now and it set me at an ease.

"Ludwig," An all familiar voice that was dripped in honey called out me. I was stunned to realize what I was looking at. There, in a stool next to me, was the one person I wanted to see most in this world. (Y/N)(L/n), my one and my only love.
