(Y/N)'s POV:

It's been, I don't actually know since there's no way to tell time down here, a week maybe. I can only tell sometimes when America brings down either breakfast or dinner food. I hate it here. I can do nothing but sit and stare into the darkness or let either sleep take away. Either way, I'm still stuck with my thoughts. I can't go anywhere when the door is locked shut with two guards posted constantly outside. The only time it's open is when America is here and he's too overpowering to fight off and run from. Not that I would get very far when the house is filled with guards anyways.

*Sigh*How much longer am I going to be held down here anyways? I feel like a helpless princess locked away by a fearsome dragon as she waits for her darling prince to rescue her. "Uhhgg! This sucks!" I blurb out to no one but the emptiness of the room.

"Then maybe it's about time you swallow?" The only voice I've heard for weeks suggests as the pitter flattering of feet come closer to the locked door. It was only moments before you heard the jiggling of keys and the creaky sound of the metal door opening. I was happy to see the light and food since I was hungry after not eating since breakfast, but now what was standing in the way, America.

"If you're sick of being in here just as much as I do," America began while coming closer with the hot plate in his hands. "Then just give your heart to me and I'll let you come back upstairs." America sat down in front of me like he always does and hands me the plate. I take it reluctantly. I may be upset to be trapped here, but I will admit that the food is good. I was so glad America at least had some sort of cooking skills. I would probably have died by now if his cooking was anything like England's.

I don't say anything to him as I dive right into the plate of pasta he made. I was so hungry. Not that I would answer him anyway if I wasn't hungry. He already knows my answer to that but he kept trying to persuade me anyhow.

"You know I do miss you and wish to see you more often. It's lonely working in the office all day then going to bed at night without your warmth there to greet me. Our friends are worried about you too. I've had to tell them that you've been sick and can't have visitors right now. The poor girls. They even baked us 'get well soon' goodies." He went on and on.

"Hey," I stopped him mid-sentence. Really not wanting to listen to him anymore, much less talk to him but was reminded of Nichole when he was talking about the neighborhood wives. "You still haven't done your part of the deal yet," I stated, looking up from my food to look him straight in his blue eyes.

A smirk made way to his face when I finally spoke to him. "Well, you never finished your part of the deal." America countered.

"What?!" I shouted in frustration. "Yes I have. You said if I cooked you dinner, you'll look to why Nichole was acting skittish and nervous that day."

"Yeah, and had a nice dinner with me. You weren't being a good wife, so I had to put in here for a time out. That breaks the deal since you didn't finish your part either" America argued.

My blood began to boil at his comment. He was trying to get out of our deal and I wasn't having it."What are you talking about?! You said if I cooked dinner. There was nothing said about having to eat dinner with you too!" I threw back. I knew I was thin ice when throwing America attitude liken this, but a deal's a deal.

There was nothing but silence for a moment as I stared at him nervously waiting for a response. Anger, lashing out, walk away, anything at this point. I can't read him when he's so unpredictable these days.

America did the one last thing I would expect, he laughed. He was laughing hysterically. There were even tears that gathered in his eyes from how hard he was laughing. I was stunned. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I just bashed him and he's laughing? I don't know to rather feel reluctant or scared, maybe both?
