Chapter 31: Manila home

THE smile on my lips can't be remove at this very moment. I am happy because I am going home now. Dad called that I should go there before the election.

"Tara na?" It was Ram voice. He was only holding his backpack.

"Sure." Sabi ko at saka naglakad kasabay nya papuntang bus.

Biglaan lang kaya nag-commute nalang kami thru bus and tricycle. Apat na oras na kaming bumabyahe at alam kong malayo pa kami. Hindi ako nakaramdam ng pagka-inip, siguro dahil kasama ko sya.

"Na-miss ka siguro ng parents mo." He said.

"Sana." I said and smile.

"Sa tinggin mo pababalikin ka pa samin pag nalaman nilang boyfriend mo ako?" He asks.

I smiled. "Babalik ako sayo, Ram. Babalik ako kahit ano ang mangyari." I assured him. I saw his smile and I found him more handsome whenever he's smiling ear to ear.

My eyes were satisfied in a beautiful view that can be seen from here. Ram became my tourist guide, he was telling me about the history of the stuffs that I keep pointing out using my index finger.

"Wow. That was beautiful." I commented after hearing his trivia.

"Nagugutom ka na?" He asks.

"Medyo." I answered.

"Malapit na tayo sa terminal, kumain muna tayo roon." He said

And minutes passed, we reach the terminal and we both went to an eatery nearby.

"I love you." I said and watch him chewing his food. He stop chewing and he look at me. He grab the water in his side and drink it.

"Wag ka ngang ganyan." He stated

I pouted. "Why? Ayaw mo ba?" I even tried to look cute.

"Hell no! I'd love that." He said and smile. "Nagulat lang ako, binibigla mo kasi ako." He said.

I laughed and winked at him and he just chuckled.

We continue riding the bus and it was passed 8 o' clock in the evening. Alas diyes kami umalis ng bahay nila Ram at sampung oras na kaming bumabyahe. I haven't tried this before. Palagi kasi ay nagpapa book ako ng flight o di kaya ay ipagdadrive ako ng driver namin sa mansyon. But my first experience wasn't that bad because I'll never feel so bored talking with him. He yawn as a sign that he was sleepy.

"Matulog ka na nga." I said and pouted.

Nagkukwento kasi ako tungkol kay Crein kung bakit kasi tinanong nya ako kung bakit iyon ang napili kong kurso pero mukhang di naman sya interesado.

"Hindi naman ako inaantok, sige lang kwento ka pa." He said

Umirap ako. "Ang plastik mo. Bagay talaga sayo ang lawyer e, sinungaling." I scoffed.

His expression became so serious.

"Nagsinungaling man ako ay dahil iyon sa trabaho ko. Pero hinding-hindi ako magsisinungaling pagdating sayo. Pagdating sa pag-ibig na mayroon ako para sayo." He said.

And there. I am okay again. Para akong nadumihang bagay, kaunting punas lang okay na ulit. Parang konting nakakakilig lang nyang salita okay na ako ulit. He's like a spell to me. I don't know if he's just casting a spell to control my feelings. And I don't care if he is. I am so willing to walk and stay under his spell.
