Marcos POV
It has been a couple of weeks and every time I wake up I hope to see star sitting outside my tent but she not and every day she seems to get worse but she still denies that she's sick. She acts like she's fine but she's not all she wants to do is explore but her mom won't let her leave the tent she's miserable and it breaks my heart to see her like this.
This morning when I got to stars camp I only saw one of the cars no tents and stars mom.
Mrs butterfly what's going on I asked
We are going home she started putting some stuff in her car we decided it would be best to bring star home so she can get better
Oh I said are you going to come back I asked
No, she said
We don't want star to get sick again
I see I said putting my head down can I see star before you leave I asked
Sorry, Marco, her dad took her home earlier she said putting her hand on my shoulder
But she said she wants you to look after Pepsi tell you see each other again
I looked up and saw moon holding stars small puppy I grabbed it and said tell her I said hi
I will she said
Then she got in the car and left
I sat down on the table looking at the puppy and thought about what we had done and how much fun we had and hoped we would see each other soon and when we did she would be better.
