Come on, Daddy! Can we please visit Harry? It was the day following Harry's brutal accident on the quidditch pitch. Maddy had asked countless times to visit him since she had woken up that morning.

Remus sighed and looked at Maddy's essay from the night before, that they had hung up on the wall in the morning. Remus helped her edit it somewhat, she had it pretty accurate in the first place, and Maddy knew the perfect theory for ridding a place of dementors.

She already considered herself somewhat of an expert on patronuses. She knew about their forms and how they changed if something drastic happened in the castors life. Maddy wondered briefly what her form would be, but quickly shoved the thought away. She's most likely never be able to cast it, and even if she did, it wouldn't be for another ten years.

"Alright, Maddy," said Remus, snapping Maddy efficiently out of her thoughts. She had to recollect herself quickly to remember what her father was agreeing too. Her smile widened, and she ran to the door.

When they arrived at the Hospital Wing, Harry, Ron, and Hermione were whispering adamantly to each other. Hermione, who was facing the direction of the door, waved kindly at time. "Professor Lupin. Maddy." She said.

"Hello, Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Maddy and I came to see if Harry was alright."

"I've been worse, Professor Lupin," stated Harry modestly, "How about you? Are you feeling better?"

Remus smiled, "I've been worse," he replied in the same tone Harry used earlier.

"Professor? Where were you last class?" asked Hermione.

"I was ill. Worse than I am now at least. I did, however, hear the class wasn't that great."

Ron scoffed, "I got a detention for sticking up for Hermione. And I have to scrub the bedpans here." He gestured around, "Without magic!"

Maddy frowned looking between the three, Was that after I left? What happened?

Remus translated what she said, and Hermione nodded, "Yes. Snape was going on about how behind we are, because no one could tell him the difference between a wolf and a werewolf. I was raising my hand, however, and so I just tried to answer the question. He took five points for being an 'insufferable know it all'. Ron got mad and said, 'You asked us a question and she knows the answer! Why ask if you don't want to be told?'"

Maddy gave Ron two thumbs up, and he returned the small gesture with a smile.

Remus looked like he was about to ask another question, when the door opened, revealing the entire quidditch team. He quickly changed what he was about to say, "Glad your feeling alright Harry. See you soon."

Harry's eyes widened, "Are you going to be in class tomorrow?"

Remus shrugged, "I'll see if I'm a hundred percent better. At this rate, yes." Remus walked past the quidditch team and gave them a small smile, "Good game. It takes a lot of guts to play in that weather." And with that he left.

Maddy quickly made her way to the door, stopping only to beam at the quidditch team, and bolt after her father.

Maddy sat at the 'Little Lupin Lounge' with her legs propped chewing quietly on a peanut butter sandwich. It was Monday afternoon, and she waited patiently for the third years to arrive. Remus stood cleaning the right wall, where the Weasley twins exploded some concoction on it.

The class started to file in. They seemed apprehensive to enter the classroom, which Maddy believed to be Snape's awful subbing the week before.

Once everyone was seated, they burst into a series of complaints, which made Maddy smile broadly in between bites. She finished and stood up to join the rambling.
