It's been a whole week since you last saw the boys. A week of late nights, long work shifts, few meals and little sleep. Why you ask? Because life is like that sometimes. Everyone in your workplace has been sick (the flu is definitely doing the rounds), hence the extra shifts. On one hand, you're happy for the extra shifts. Rent was due this week, as well as utilities, and you barely scraped it in. The fact you were working extra long shifts also meant the chance to eat more of the kitchen rejects, as well as drinking more free coffee, saving you some money. One of the reasons you took this job, aside from the flexibility of the hours, was for the coffee. You'd honestly rather drink a coffee in the morning instead of eating food. Coffee has enough calories to count as a meal, so there's nothing wrong with turning it into your breakfast. Rationally, you understand that if anyone else told you this, you would be horrified. The people around you have always said you're like the mother of any group, always looking after everyone in every way possible. You just don't apply it to yourself. It's different when it's you. You've been living like this for so long now that it's normal. It all works perfectly fine, so why change it?

It may have been a week since you saw the boys, but it hasn't been a week since you heard from them. Everyday they have messaged you in the group chat. Memes form the maknaes during the breaks. Reminders to eat properly and not overwork yourself from the hyungs. They all seemed worried about you, but you couldn't understand why. You were fine. Everything was normal. The messages were a little annoying sometimes, especially if they decided to spam you during work hours (which ok may have been most hours), but they looked like they were having fun. Who were you to ruin their fun? The latest round of messages was their attempt to try to meet up with you again.

Jin: Hey Y/n! Are you free tomorrow?

Since tomorrow is saturday,

and we have the day off,

everyone was hoping you wouldn't

mind meeting up?

Namjoon: It would be good if we could

Hoseok: We really want to see you!

Yoongi: No pressure though

It was rare for you to get messages from the hyung line uninterrupted by the maknaes. They must be off playing video games or something. You vaguely remember an earlier message about an overwatch match. Glancing up to make sure no one was walking in the door at work, you think about it. You only have a short shift tomorrow, 6am - 12pm, so you could meet up with them after that. Did you want to meet up with them though. Despite the evidence pointing towards it, you still doubted whether they truly were your soulmates. How could you possibly be good enough to be their soulmate? Not wanting to disappoint anyone, you agree to meet up tomorrow after work.

I finish work at 12pm tomorrow.

Yoongi: That gives me time to sleep in

Hoseok: You're always sleeping hyung!

Namjoon: That works for us Y/n.

We could meet at 12:30pm.
