"look at the stars, look how they shine for you..."
not a day went by without his angelic face crossing her mind. without the letters of his name dancing gracefully before her eyes.
he had appeared amidst the crowd more than once, as if he had come straight from her thoughts, disappearing forthwith when she desperately tried to chase after him. the man was nowhere to be found. an unexplainable impression settling deep in her chest and tears threatening to fall met her instead.
wherever she was, his remembrance haunted her. never had she thought someone could emit such a light by their sole presence. there couldn't be another love waiting for her as beautiful as his was, he couldn't be replaced. a bitter consequence of relishing a love that happened once in a lifetime.
the memories were still vivid, as if everything just had occurred. however, this december marked eleven years of living in his absence.
