On Jealousy And Forgiveness

Corazon's POV

I decided to walk out from Marcial after naming magkasagutan. I admit I was hurt with the way he treated me this morning so I decided na umalis muna sa bahay para magpalamig. Its been a while since nagkasagutan kami ng ganun. Its been a while since he treated me that way. I drive my car and since its a weekend, I decided to visit Jessie, Ethan and my cute apo Edgar.

"Lola Mommy, Lola Mommy", masayang salubong sa akin ni Edgar sabay yakap sa bewang ko.

" Hello baby, Lola misses you so much", I carried him and kissed his chubby cheeks. Oh, how I missed this kid. Medyo gumaan ang pakiramdam ko at nawala ang pagkainis kay Marcial.

" Where's Papa General? Bakit hindi mo po siya kasama?, the kid asked.

" He is busy baby eh. But he promised to visit you one of these days", pagsisinungaling ko. "Tara, lets get inside. Nandiyan ba Mommy and Daddy mo?"

Edgar nods and we get inside the house.

" Mama!", masayang bati sa akin ng anak kong si Jessie sabay yakap.

" Hello anak. Miss na miss ko na tong apo ko kaya ako napadalaw".

" Naku Ma. Tamang tama ang pagdalaw niyo. Magpapaturo ako magluto ng kare kare. Nagri request si Ethan eh. Eh hindi naman ako expert sa kusina unlike you and Ate Arabella".

"Hahaha. Sure anak. Tara na sa kusina".

Dumiretso na kami ni Jessie sa kusina and prepared all the ingredients and helped her in the kitchen.

" Si Papa po, bakit hindi sumama?", tanong ni Jessie habang nagluluto kami.

"Tulog pa nung umalis ako eh. Puyat. Late na umuwi kagabi", pagdadahilan ko.

"Ay oo nga Ma. Paalis na kami ng opisina kagabi pero nandun pa siya".

" May kasama ba siya? I mean may ka meeting or what?", paguusisa ko.

"Hmm. She's with Atty Lucy sa office niya kagabi. May meeting yata sila. You know Atty Lucy naman diba? Papa's friend. Balita ko magsi settle na yata dito".

I just nod and continue cooking.

Lunchtime came and we all enjoyed it. Sharing stories and good laugh.

"Ma, thanks sa napakasarap na kare kare. Dami kong nakain. The best talaga ang kare kare mo, pambobola ni Ethan.

"Edgar baby, you want to go to the mall with Lola Mommy? Mag arcade tayo, tanong ko sa apo ko".

" Yes po Lola Mommy. Bihis na po ako ha", excited na sagot ng Apo ko at pumasok sa kuwarto niya para magbihis.

MARCIAL's POV

I woke up around noontime and immediately look for Corazon. I wanted to apologize for my behaviour last night. I looked for her in every corner of the house but she's nowhere to be found.

"Asan ang Maam mo?", tanong ko sa kasambahay namin.

" Maaga po umalis, General", sagot niya

I get my phone and dialled her number but she's not answering. I texted her.

"Ma, asan ka?? Uwi ka na. Di pa ako nagla lunch. Sabay na tayo".

Its been an hour since I sent that message and she hasn't reply. I called her again but still she's not answering.

I know she's mad at me. "Kelangan mo bumawi sa asawa mo, Marcial". I told myself.

CORAZON'S 's POV.

I turned off my phone. Nakailang tawag na si Marcial at iritang irita na ako.

" Bahala ka diyan. Mag lunch kang magisa mo",  pagalit na bulong ko.

"Lola Mommy, why are you mad?", tanong ng apo ko while eating his favorite ice cream.

"Wala baby". I wiped his mouth with a tissue.

"Its getting dark baby. Tara hatid na kita sa inyo".

"Okay po", Edward smiles and hinatid ko na siya sa bahay nila. I decided to go home after.

MARCIAL's POV...

I heard her car in the garage. I've been waiting for her in our living room for an hour already. I opened the door for her.

"Hi Ma", I smiled at her then gave her the bouquet of flowers I ordered online. Its her favorite lilies, carnation and pink rose.

She just gave me a poker face and went upstairs. I followed her, still holding the bouquet of flowers.

"Ma, sorry na. Please wag ka na magalit". I hugged her from behind then kiss her shoulder.

" Marcial, ano ba. Bitiwan mo nga ako", pagpupumiglas niya.

I didn't let her go. I continued kissing her shoulder then her neck while caressing her left arm "I did not mean to offend you last night. Pagod at puyat lang ako. Im really sorry Hon", I said in a soft voice

CORAZON'S POV.

Aaminin ko. Hindi na ako magpapakipot ka. What's he's doing weakens my knee. I am actually enjoying this moment. I smiled.

"Uy, di na siya galit!, my husband said still hugging me tight from behind.

"Tse", pagtataray ko sa kanya.

"I ordered sashimi and tempura. Then I prepared wine and cheese. Naka set up na sa garden. Tara baba na tayo".

I smiled. He really knows me well. Alam na alam niya na I can't say no to wine and cheese.  I faced him, gave him a sweet smile and a smack kiss on his lips.

"Hay naku General. Tara na nga. Baka magbago pa isip ko".

" Am I forgiven"?, he asked

I just nod, grabbed his hand and went to the garden. He set up a small table with all the food he prepared. He pulled a chair for me like a real gentleman should be. Then he puts food on my plate then pour a wine in my glass.

" Enjoy your dinner Ma".

" Maupo ka na din Hon at sabayan ako", I replied.

We ate, laughed and enjoyed the food. I was laughing hard to his corny jokes while sipping the wine. I really enjoyed moments like this with my husband.

Then his phone rings. I checked the screen to check who's calling him at this hour.

Its Atty Lucy Wong...
