Damon

"Where have you fucking been?" Dash asks furiously as I make my way into the kitchen for my morning dose of coffee.

"Cote de Marinette." I reply nonchalantly. One of our friends Marcel owns a chain of hotels both in the U.S and internationally so of course I'm a VIP member and as such I always have a room on standby.

After the whole scene thing with Marco I checked into a hotel knowing full well that Dash would check every other place but there. I guess I needed to put my feelings in check and just get away from everybody in general for a whole week. Just the thought of Marco does that to me, the thought of someone touching him fucking does that to me.

"For one week? You didn't even reach out Day, to me of all people? That's foul." He snaps angrily at me before brushing past me and making a move to go back to the living room.

I quickly drop the mug I'm holding and close up the distance between me and the 6'4, 190lbs hunk of a fucker presently fuming at me.

I turn him around to face me before wrapping my hands around him. "I'm sorry Dashy, I just needed time to sort through somethings, alone."

"I bet you did." Trip snorts from the couch he's presently lounged on. I throw the middle finger at the fool with his sassy comments and sarcastic sounds.

"And just so you know, I missed you too." I give Dash a kiss on the cheek before he pulls me back and hugs the freaking daylights out of my soul.

"I never said I missed you goldilocks." I roll my eyes at his trashy ability to pretend that I'm not the reason for his existence, that I'm not the source of his joy.

"It was implied my love." He flicks my forehead as Trip makes another one of his sarcastic sounds. "I swear I'm this close to putting laxatives in your breakfast Trip, keep trying me master Sergeant." That shuts him up instantly, he knows from experience that I'm not kidding.

I head over to the coffee machine after saying a quick greeting to Rosa who's making breakfast, I grab my unforgotten mug and pour the whole coffee into it.

"One week away and you still didn't buy a coffee machine you coffee thief." Dash raises his eyebrows at me in amusement as I sip the dark goodness and bringer of joy and gladness.

"I do have a coffee machine Dashy" He hates that nickname so much so I place major emphasis on it. "I just don't have a Rosa aka the coffee god." I give her one of my famous lazy smiles and it's quick to bring a blush on her face. Dash and Trip both huff in disgust, one would think it was planned at the synchrony with which they bring the action to life.

"Please Rosa can you make some more coffee, Marco is a demon without it and I really love my eyeballs." She nods in answer to his request "You're the best, thanks." But Dash and I keep glancing at him in confusion, that was oddly specific and quite a turn-on but oddly specific. "What? He doesn't realize that he sometimes voices his thoughts, and my eyeballs are like treasures to him when he hasn't had his coffee yet."

I can't hold my laughter as a whole Caleb Carter-Chen who has shot people and been shot at, tough as nails, veteran, 6'3, 210 lbs, seems visibly shaken by the idea of Marco waking up without his coffee on standby.

"So what's the plans today?" Dash asks as we all make our way to the living room to enjoy our cups of coffee with the sun rising above the horizon and the intricate and technical works of baroque composer G.F. Handel.

"Back-to-back meetings since all the meetings in my absentia were rescheduled but I might wind up at the club when all is done." I reply and Trip releases a loud cough that has the rest of us turning our attention to him to check if nothing's wrong. "You?"
