-set to "Truth in Soul" (A Confession against Pornography)

In the night I come to You
Sanctify me by Your truth
Father, I have failed in my steps
In mercy, deliver me from death

I have loved what You have hated
From Your path and side, forsaken
In lust, denied my Strength and need
My adulterous embrace raised this enmity

O You opened Your heart
And how, with this kiss, I've betrayed!
Wounded by their flaming darts
For I've thrown down the shield of faith

In rebellion, I have forsaken Your law
And not walked in Thy judgments
Punish my transgression with Your rod
For I have not kept Your commandments

Nevertheless
Let not Your lovingkindness be utterly taken
Though my faithfulness toward You has failed
Let not Thy Spirit (which has upheld me) be forsaken
But cause Your mercies over judgment to prevail

Purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean
Wash me and I shall be whiter than snow
Hide Your face from my sin
And blot out all my iniquities
(Make me hear joy and gladness)
And bring rejoicing to these broken bones

Selah

Let the train of Thy robe (dipped in blood) fill this temple
For my High Priest has come; merciful and faithful
He who suffered and can sympathize with my struggle
Is able to aid those who are tempted
And forgive they who have stumbled

How can I cleanse my way?
By taking heed according to Your Word
For it is able to make us wise for salvation through faith
That the man of God may be complete
Thoroughly equipped for every good work

Though I placed myself in this dungeon, I cannot remain
For His sacrifice has purged my scarlet stains
In mercy, I'm no more bound to my choice but His
For the Son of Man has the power to forgive

His eternal action and decision is of greater finality than mine
O merciful, mysterious, and immovable are His designs!
Who could stand if He should mark iniquities?
Yet He is slow to anger and abounding in mercy

Dare I, when He with tender hand uplifts my face
To then despise the riches of His goodness and grace
By longing and seeking what He has sheared?
Nay, for there is forgiveness with Him
That He may be feared

Blessed is the man whom You instruct
That You may give him rest from the days of adversity
Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up
Though I fall, I shall not be cast down utterly

I will exalt You O Lord, for You have lifted me up
And have not let my enemies rejoice
I have taken of salvation's cup
For I cried out to You with my voice
You have kept me alive that I should not go down to the pit
But have raised this poor and needy soul
And with the princes of Your people, made him sit
Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever!
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so
Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the Enemy

"When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” " ~John 8:10-11

"My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world." ~1 John 2:1-2
