Lincoln was thinking that this would be a bad idea.
But ever since The First Zombie Crisis happened, all kinds of horror caused people to behave weirdly. Moms protected their babies in prams; joggers made sure no Zombies bit them as they attempted to lose weight; construction workers were drilling into the hot concrete unaware that clawed fingers of the Undead were raking peoples' flesh...ripping the bloody skin off...
...And, as some people were turned, the true horror of the Second Zombie Crisis was yet to be played out..

Lincoln heard the screams, but he was too concerned to tihnk to help.
NNYPD Officers were on the scene.
And, as they struggled not to be bitten and turned, that is exactly what was the horrifying result. And Lincoln ignored that.
Once he was at the bottom, he saw a lot of rusty pipes.
Noone had maintained it for a long time.
He looked around.
And begun his job.
