"Come on, I just want your number," the guy said as he pushed the small boy against the wall.

The boy was shaking, he was too small to defend himself, and in general, he doesn't like fighting, he couldn't get any words out, he was internally begging for help.

"Oi, leave him alone" someone suddenly said in a very deep voice catching the guys' attention, he looked towards the direction of the voice and smirked.

"And who are you to tell me that," the guy said.

"Well, you shouldn't push people to give their number to you especially if they are dating someone," the owner of the voice said making his way towards the guy and the small boy.

The small boy looked towards the owner of the voice and was met by a guy, he was taller than him, his cheeks were beautifully dusted with freckles and he had blond hair.

"Babe... I was so worried gosh" the guy said with a small smile and reached for the small boy but instead, he was met with a hand that pushed him away.

The big guy laughed and proceeded to throw a punch and land it, the guy touched his lip and saw blood, he glared at the big guy and got up.

"You should run," he said with a small smirk.

The guy laughed again, "What are you going to do about it shorty"

"Well..." the guy said and took his phone out "I will have to call the police, like one you hit me so you get charged with Assault second you harassed someone so you get another charge," the guy said and the big guys color drained from his face.

He scoffed and made a face of disgust "You aren't even that cute" the big guy said before he walked away.

The guy rushed towards the small boy "Are you okay?" he asked the boy who just stared at him blankly, he looked at the guy a bit and suddenly placed a hand on his face.

"You're hurt," the boy said softly, the guy couldn't help but smile.

"Where do you live? I'll take you home" the guy asked, the small boy had a look of pain flash on his face and just shook his head.

"I am going to a friend's place, I will be fine, he lives around here I can just walk," the boy said removing his hand from the others face.

"There is no way I am letting you walk by yourself after what just happened," he said annoyed.

"I- okay but before we go can we stop at the 24-hour pharmacy?" the boy asked.

"Why?" the guy asked confused.

"You got injured because of me, so let me at least take care of the wound," the small boy said and took his bag that looked like it would pop any minute.

The guy basically ran to catch up with the boy, they walked in silence... It Wasn't exactly awkward but it wasn't comfortable either.

"Uhm... I'm Felix by the way" the guy said suddenly making the small boy look at him with wide eyes.

"Oh well thank you, Felix, I'm Dojun" the two boys both smiled and kept walking, they eventually got to the pharmacy and after buying the ointment they sat on the bench outside the pharmacy and Dojun quickly cleaned up the wound and handed the things to Felix

"Make sure to keep it clean okay?" Dojun said with a small smile.

"I will, so now I am walking you to your friend's place," Felix said and held out a hand after getting up, Dojun looked at him confused and held out his hand, Felix could only smile at the boy and took his hand and pulled him to his feet.

"So which way do we walk?" Felix asked and Dojun pointed to an apartment building that is not too far away.

The two walked in silence, Felix let the boy's hand go shortly after they started walking.

When they got to the building, Felix was insistent on walking Dojun all the way to the apartment, when they got there he took his phone and held it out to Dojun.

"Can I have your number? It sounds weird I know since I just saved you from a similar situation but I really want to be friends" he said quickly.

Dojun laughed a bit, he found the boy amusing, but he took Felix's phone and added his number in.

Felix took his phone back and called the number so Dojun had his as well.

"I will see you around yeah? If anyone messes with you call me" Felix said smiling and started walking to the elevator.

"I really owe you one" Dojun shouted at the boy and the boy turned around and shook his head.

"You don't have to"

"But I will if you ever need help to let me know," Dojun said and Felix could only smile happily and nod.

When Felix disappeared into the elevator, the apartment door swung open.

"You are making a lot of noise you know," his friend said, Dojun looked at his friend who resembled a fox with a small smile.

"Sorry..." he said and his friend just huffed.

"Come on, I have ice cream and a movie ready but first you need a hot bath after what happened at home," the friend said pulling the small boy into his apartment.

"Thanks, Jeongin, I really appreciate all this, especially because it's late"

"Yeah well, your parents are shitty, sorry to say it to kick out your son at 8 pm just because he likes dudes is messed up" his friend ranted, he never liked the smaller parents and although he couldn't ever figure out why but now he knew, it was because they are homophobic assholes.

The small boy had tears busy welling up from being reminded of why he ended up here in the first place.

His mental health had been a mess for a long time and his parents wanted answers, he finally told them about his past relationship with a boy and what happened in that relationship.

It was a double knock for him since he was coming out to them and finally opening up about things he hid away for way too long, and they didn't even let him finish when they heard it was a boy they started yelling at him and told him he had to leave and they didn't want a son like him.

He just stuffed all his things into a bag and left, yes he now has to buy new notebooks for university but at least he got in on a full scholarship which covered everything even his textbooks so he didn't have to worry for this semester about his tuition but it sure was going to become stressful really soon.
