Chapter 79: Special

   (Oh.  My gosh guys, we finally did it!  We made it to a 1,000 reads overall!  I'm so, so stunned that it finally got there!  I know that it's from the roads in every chapter, but I'm still completely overwhelmed with joy.  I could've never gotten this far without a few certain special friends...)

   (So, in honor of this moment, I've decided to make Original Songs for each of my personal favorite original characters in the story!)

   I walked through the woods.  'Continue straight and you should find her.' Viggo's instructions echoed in my head.

   Ugh, Viggo.  I was STILL taking orders from him, like I would never be free.

   As I continued, I heard a hauntingly familiar voice, but it was so faint that I just thought it was the howling echoes from the village of Berk.  

   But then, as I continued closer, I heard a chillingly beautiful voice that was unmistakably Kiara's. 

"I've walked this path alone before,

Feeling trapped and nothing...more.

With nothing but the sea to guide me,

When they aren't there to help me...free.

Trapped between friends and fam... ily,

With a gap running through the middle

When the right thing is all I can see,

It causes my loyalties to dwin...dle.

 When the sun goes down and the moon that howls,

Rises above the falling lakes

I can hear, and see, the sounds and colors

And it's clear what's at stake.

Caught between my loyalties 

Now stepping back awake

Because now that I can see clearly

I won't let all this fall...that's at stake

Crushed underneath the ties of righteous and family

But when the world seems to fall out from under me

They're faces are all I can see

With no differences to their loyalties...

Caught between family

Drowning under my own lake

Because when I can clearly see

I understand what's at stake..."

   Kiara trailed off, glancing out at the ocean.  She sucked in a shuddering breath, and I could guess who she was thinking about.

"When the world starts to fall

I can see you above it all

You've risked your soul again and again

But this time you met...your end

A roar of fury is lost in your gaze

All I see is that you knew it would end this way

And you already knew what to say to..me
