9:00 pm Maiduguri.
"I gathered you all here not for anything but to inform you about a decision I have made" Ayya said looking at each and everyone of them.
"That is nothing but, firstly; every girl in this family should and must get married at the age of 19 dot. And I don't want any backing off about this."
Everyone was shocked for they have never saw this coming, it was quite silent for a while, it was only the parents of the children. That's the sons of Ayya and their wives.
"Secondly, for my girls over 20 years. I have decided to marry them off the next month insha Allah. I can see they have grown enough to share words with the elders and non of you is ready to talk to them" she cleared.
Ammi was worried like hell, she doesn't know how Saleema is going to take all this. And in this short notice. marriage in a month without her approval.
Not only ammi, everyone was. More especially Abba that could only look away and sigh.
"Ayya but I think we at least should give the girls right to chose or bring the ones they want, we cannot just do this to our own children which we know it's not the best way to deal with things" Abba said in a breath. He wasn't able to just keep shut and watch as his daughters life get destroyed.
Ayya smirked looking at her son.
"Accepted. But as you know, the person they are bringing must be a member of my own boundary. The boundary of DAGGASH" she said as she stood on her feet. She walks majestically to her room not sparing a look at any of them.

The next day...
8:09am Maiduguri.
"Saleema!" Ammi called
"Done Ammi! Just a minute" she yelled back from her room.
5 minutes later..
"Ammi, done already" she said dragging her back coming downstairs.
She hugged ammi tight before pulling back
"Saleema, as you go there...." ammi started but was soon cut off by Saleema
"I should mind my own business, I should talk less, I should always cover up, I must not go around with my nightgowns or any tight clothes, I should focus on my studies, no bad friends, I should do just as they said" she finished humming, making ammi to smile
"Ammi you've repeated this for the millionth time, as if I'm spending my entire life there" Saleema laughed
"Well I have to, please do as you just said" Ammi said and she nodded
"Ammi I'm only spending three weeks for my final exams fa. I'm not spending my remaining time in this world there" she said and ammi shook her head.
"If the Mummy and daughter's drama is done, can we please go" Abba said cutting them off.
"Okay just some minutes" ammi said and he walked out waiting at the parking lot
"Go say bye to Ayya" ammi told her and she frowned but did just as she said.
She walks towards her room, with a beating heart she knocked the door.
