Are you doing your best? Or are you just doing something for the sake of completion?
There are times that we do not do our own best in doing something especially in a job or in any career. What we do is always being taken for granted because we are obliged-or we need to. Is that what God wants? I don't think so.
Whatever we do, we should do our best as if we are doing it for the Lord. And if it is for the Lord, it is giving our all-our love, our effort, and our passion.
The key to do our works with all our might is love (1 Cor 16:14). When we tend to love the things that we do, that is passion. We won't be feeling tired or stressed, and we are delighted as God is delighted for He is being dedicated by what our hands do.
But mind you, I'm not saying that you do something for the Lord when what you do is something that He does not like (I think we know the point to this).
Don't just simply work, work mightily for the Lord. The reward is in heaven, not on earth.
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might. - Ecclesiastes 9:10
